I don’t know the exact cost, it’s a 1.25 emerald cut with a halo and diamond band. The wedding band below it (in pic) I just purchased and it cost abut $800. Hope this helps!

I don’t remember how much exactly he spent on my diamond solitare,  $4,000-5000? He spent more because it’s platinum and a Tiffany & Co. It’s in my avatar.

My diamond is a 1.21 carat AGS I SI1 OEC from Love Affair Diamonds. My platinum setting was made by CVB Inspired Design. The total price was just under $9k

My wedding band is from Tiffany & Co and it was $950. I also have a Tiffany Embrace shared prong diamond band that was $5700. I don’t wear it much because I think it overwhelms my e-ring.

My ring is currently being made as we speak…but the total cost will be just under 7K. We decided on a 1.5ct Pink Sapphire in a 1.5ct diamond double-halo setting. I personally think my boyfriend overpaid on the center stone by well over 1k because he did not want to take my advise and source the stone outside of the jeweler. The jewler did give us a good deal on the setting but we techically over budget by 2k. Here is a picture of the stone in a setting the jeweler placed it in so we could get a visual of a halo design.

My Fiance bought my ring, wouldn’t hear of splitting the cost.  He paid just under 8k for the ering.  Its a 1.3ct ideal cut princess, H, VS1.  There’s .32ct in the setting.  He also bought the matching band with another .32ct for $950.

I think Fiance paid just under $5k for my H VS2 1.01 emerald cut diamond in a 14k rose gold setting with about .15 ct in pave diamonds. My wedding band will be a plain 14k rose gold band from Etsy and will cost around $175.

Our budget was 4K for the e-ring and we spent 4200$ so it was very close to the budget. It is a 0.65 carat center stone G color, I1 clarity. Not sure the overall carat of the e ring but it 14k gold. And my wedding band is 18k gold 0.25 carat and cost 600$.

He spent $5800 on the e-ring GIA .75 color E, VVS1, excellent cut set in platinum.  He went high on quality and at first I was bummed because $5800 could’ve bought a larger diamond, or he could’ve gotten the same size in a less quality and saved some money…but now I wouldn’t trade it for anything! The sparkle of it makes me happy and I can’t imagine loving any ring more! He bought it from Blue Nile, they are awesome!

Fiancé spent $9k.  It’s a 1.00 Round VS2, Excellent Cut, E-Color “conflict free” diamond.  Setting is a micro pave twisted band, about 1.8mm, 18k white gold and all on a size 4 finger.  We paid a bit of a premium for the brand name, 18k and diamond quality.

GIA xxx F color si1 2.01 ct center diamond. The setting is platinum with another carat total weight of diamonds in it. Our jeweler is pretty reasonably priced and platinum was only about $600 more than white gold, so I decided to go for it and glad I did. Budget was $27,000 so we came in a bit under (ring was just under $25k). He paid but I picked my ring myself.  I paid for his wedding band.

Budget was $1500 we spent under $1000 for all rings. $875 for a white gold 1.4ct cushion cut Forever One Charles’ and Colvard Moissanite solitaire from MoissaniteCO online, $80 for a 3mm plain white gold band from eBay for my wedding band and $35 for a 8mm Tungsten band for him from Etsy. Also we didn’t wear any rings while engaged we picked out and purchased the rings together exchanged and wore them after we got married.

My ering was purchased in 1996 and cost $5000. The two bands were added later at wedding and 5 year anniversary. The 3 ring set cost $10,000 back then. I don’t remember the specs other than center stone is a half carat and total weight is 2 CTs. It is insured now for $25000

Mine was an upgrade. We had talked about a budget of 4K (we could pay in cash), because that’s what we thought it would take to get us a diamond the size we wanted (and by “we,” I mean “I”) but I was pretty hesitent to spend that much, considering my first ering was $200. We visited a local jewelry store and I was so disappointed to find out that even 4K wouldn’t quite get us there.

Fast forward a week, and we walk into a pawn shop in another town (my hubby likes to collect old coins, so one of our hobbies is driving around the state on weekends). I’ve never looked at pawn shop jewelry before but after the disappointment from the previous weekend, I walked over to the case to look around. My eyes immediately landed on one specific ring. I loved it. I knew it was the One. We asked to see it, and I cringed as we turned it over to look at the price tag… but it was $1440!

We took it to a local jeweler to have it appraised the next week, and he found that it was inscribed with a GIA cert number. With all of the gold as well, he valued it at $4950 for insurance. So, here’s my 0.76ct, XXX, G color, VS1!
