Just a question to all the ladies who’ve already had babies. How much did your breasts grow when your milk came in? There are no nursing bras available where I live and it just wouldn’t work to have to return them, so it looks like I will have to buy online and want to get it as right as I can in one go.
For your info, I was a 34C before I got pregnant. My breasts grew a bit at the beginning of my pregnany, but not at all since. I am currently 22 weeks and am wearing a 36D.
I’ve been looking to order some nursing bras in the coming weeks, but just don’t know what size to get. Any suggestions?

My breasts didn’t grow a whole lot during my pregnancy (I was a 32B before I got pregnant)
I remember looking at myself in the mirror the day after giving birth and yelling to my husband, “goodness! My boobs are huge!”
I went to about a 32C over night lol.
Unfortunately after I stopped breastfeeding …they shrunk to like AA…blargh.
As for bras, I bought 2 bras in a C cup ahead of time and luckily they worked out. I went and bought a couple more afterwards.

Its usually recommended to wait until as late as you can to order them. Some people grow a lot when their milk comes in, some dont. Like many things “it depends” I am 22 weeks and I have grown 3 sizes.

I actually used sports bras that hooked in front for nursing my daughter.

My son is 3 weeks old. I’m using the Medela nursing bras. They are sized s, m, l, xl. I have 2 nighttime ones and 1 daytime. Also bought a nursing tank top. When they are all dirty & in the wash I made due with an “ah bra”. I didn’t want to commit to a sized bra, a few friends had their boobs change size multiple times. Plus I lost weight during pregnancy so my boobs never really grew, I believe that I’m up not even 1 cup size now.

my first pregnancy i went from a 34B to a 38DD!!! All 3 pregnancies I get to a 38Dear Daughter and eventually go down to a permanant 36C. I wore sports bras while nursing. Or nursing tank tops were very comfy. They got swollen and big, but not a cup size bigger when milk came in. Just rock hard when milk comes in, instead of squishy. Once you feed baby, squishy again. Rock hard when baby is ready to feed.
I think genetics is a big factor. Some women dont get big boobs at all.

I started out a 36C, then around 20-22 weeks I was at a 38D. Now I’m 32 weeks and I fit into a 40DD! I dont think my milk has even come in yet

Not exactly sure of the size as I don’t wear bras. But I am small, like double A cup small and when I get pregnant, my boobs get noticeably larger (not huge but nice). They get a little bigger after baby while breastfeeding but then after bf-ing, they shrink back down a ton. I am actually smaller now after kids than I was before I had them. I tend to stick to small sports bras when needed.

I work in a maternity store and see women with all different cup changes. Some grow barely a cup others go from a B to an E. Best bet is get measured towards the end & make there’s room for the days you are more engorged. I also suggest getting a mix of sleep, regular & either sports or the stretchy secret fit type bras. For reference I only grew about a cup with dd.

Sounds like everyone is different, but I went from a 34A to a 34D when I got new bras at 22 weeks pregnant. I just ordered a nursing bra online, and I stuck with 34D- it fits.
