They’re strapless sheath style and are made of satin with a chiffon overlay. My 2 BMs loved it so I was sold and bought both. They were around $220AU each including alterations
I loooove the sweetheart neckline and buckle, the girls are going to look stunning 🙂
Mine were $140, and none of them needed alterations, which was pretty awesome! And picking them out was totally easy and painless =) They are by PrettyMaids
@ozpeony: I went to the fashion district with my girls because I wanted to haggle big time and I didn’t want them spending more than 70 bucks for a dress they’re unlikely to use again. The store we went into quoted us $120 as his asking price. I quietly told them that I needed 5, and they brought the price down to 70 for us. Then I let my girls do the rest of the haggling and we got 5 dresses for 60 bucks each. We practically got them wholesale. =) I was really happy with the dress.
Edit: Here’s another shot of the dress on a mannequin. Sorry for posting twice, but I’m so proud of it. (mine are royal blue though.)
$162 from David’s Bridal.
My girls haven’t gotten their dresses yet but we’re going to go with Henkaa dresses in charcoal gray. I wanted to get dresses that were no more than $150. My girls and I went to the bridal boutique and the dresses I liked online (which had no prices online) were really pricey even with the discount. They were like 15% off and the cheapest one would have still been about $180. They were okay with it but I wasn’t so we kept looking. My maid of honor looked for convertible dresses because I want each of my girls in the same color dress but different styles. So this dress supplies that: http://shop.henkaa.com/collections/convertible-dresses-short/products/sakura-convertible-short-dress-charcoal-grey
They’re available in long and short dresses — we’re doing short. They have lots of colors. I live in the USA but they’re made in Canada 🙂 but it shouldn’t take us long to get them and it says $128 CAD which is about what the price would be in USD. Shipping isn’t bad either. Anyone else try these? I’ve only read a couple reviews saying they’re hard to use at first but that people catch on quick. There are tutorials on how to make the dress look different ways. =) I’m excited to get them — I ordered material swatch samples and the material feels nice.
Probably going to order them soon =) woot! I love that each girl can pick their style but it will still be cohesive.
I love my bridesmaid dress so much that I wish I were buying it for myself. 🙂 We decided to keep it under $200, and this dress was just a smidge under the budget at $188. It’s hard to say what’s reasonable because that’s so subjective. I just asked my girls what they felt comfortable spending, and everyone agreed on a budget. I think that’s the best way to go.
Olive12 omg total date twin lol .. oh ok yeah thats perfect im 5’8 and i have a hard time finding dresses because they are so darn short but that dress is so cute : )
$56 on clearance at Dillards. The advantage of having only one bridesmaid! I loved it the moment I saw it, and just kept an eye on it until it was affordable, snapped it up, and sent it to her. It had been around $180 to start. My Maid/Matron of Honor looks so much like this model, I know she’ll look great in it – but I won’t see her in it until the wedding, since she lives so far away!
Our dresses ranged from $160-200 per person!
We just got ours today for my bridesmaids. They are by Eden Maids and they are $119. We are getting them in black with a pink sash/bow.
Thanks ladies! We are still looking for a dress! Need help! We r looking for dark dark purple chiffon knee length! Thanks!
