We’re doing ours in Hawaii and looking at a bit over $7000 (USD) for 14 people including ourselves. That is ceremony and reception, all food and drinks, linens, flowers, celebrant etc. Hair/makeup are additional.

Maui – Ceremony is $11.5k, reception is $5k food/bev minimum, which we won’t hit given our guest list (22) so I’m encouraging my guests to order seconds and more drinks!

Ceremony package includes 2 tier cake, $500 decor credit, basic bouquet and boutonniere, officiant, musician, 2 hours photography/video etc.  We upgraded a little over that, maybe another $2k in flowers, decor, and photography time.  Also comes with a night stay at the hotel (~$600 value, it’s a nice place)

Ok I just left you a really long post that got deleted, b/c I too am planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico.

Long story short: my venue is about $3500, after vendors and wedding planner I’ll likely be spending around $25k. Many venues in PR average around $10k and have a minimum consumption requirement and many additional taxes and fees.

Where are you looking to have your wedding?
