Mine was $500 for everything including alterations, and it was 10 percent of my overall budget.

In the last 5 minutes I ordered two sample dresses online, one was $338 and the other $711. one will be returned. I bought a dress I loved on esty for a dancing dress or rehearsal dinner dress For $289. If I keep the first dress, that and the etsy dress will be 3.1% of the budget. The more expensive sample and the etsy dress is 5% of th budget.

My dress was $1600ish, and our wedding budget will probably be around $25,000. But our venue is free; we’re only paying food and alcohol at cost there so were saving quite a bit on that.

So my dress is probably about 15% of the budget.

My dress was $150 (vintage, I LOVED it, couldn’t have found anything better!) and our wedding ended up costing about $12,000. That includes all rings, which were maybe $500 altogether. We budgeted the most for food and drink, and people had an awesome time 😀  Sooooo the dress was 0.0125%, LOL!!! Even less if I include honeymoon costs!!!

My dress was $1750 before alterations (which will be minimal) and our budget is $20,000 so 8.75%

Dress is 3100, so ill guess 3500. That’s 5% of the budget not including rings/honeymoon/rehearsal din.

My dress is the cheapest thing in our whole wedding so far, at 1% of budget and brand new from the designer’s current line. It’s how I rationalize the other insane wedding expenses.

I just bought my dress on Friday for $800, which is a little over 5% of our 15k budget. I won’t get it until August (torture!) so I’m not sure how much more I’ll need for alterations…probably a lot.
