@paut0012:  I’m in the LA/OC area and the florists are quoting me approximately $3,500 for personal flowers and reception centerpieces; no ceremony decorations.

I had an anxiety attack this morning coming from the florist providing our bouquets/boutonnieres/corsages, but after reading some of these posts I feel more at ease. I got an online deal that included 3 bridesmaids bouquets & 6 boutonnieres for $60 – but the upgrades and my bouquet added up to something I wasn’t expecting!

Anyways, here’s what we got:

Location of Florist: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Types of Flowers Used: white roses, mums

Using Greens or Fillers and What Type? [Y/N and Type] Y  – Hydrangeas, green berries, bear grass

Cost of Bridal bouquet (each): $135 (white roses, green spider mums, button mums, berries, bear grass) + $35 for tossing bouquet (don’t know how I got suckered into buying that)

Cost of Bridesmaid bouquet (each): 3 were included in the deal, but I had to buy an extra bouquet which was $55 (white roses and bear grass)

Cost of Boutonniere (each): included in the deal (white roses)

Cost of Corsage (each): upgraded the deal for $22 each (white roses)

Everything above we have to pay tax on (13%)

Cost of Centerpiece (each): went through a different florist  – $25 each for white roses, hydrangeas, & mums, including square vase and delivery (& includes taxes!)

Does the Florist Provide Vases? For centerpieces-yes

For the ceremony, we’re lucky the venue has a beautiful garden surrounding the site, so we probably will not have to get any more flowers to decorate.

We will be picking up the bouquets/boutonnieres/corsages as they wanted to charge $100 for delivery. It definately won’t cost us that much in gas to go pick them up!

Total we’re spending on flowers is just under $700.
