I’m trying to compare prices for our bar. How much did you pay for your open bar including tax & gratuity.
I’m trying to compare prices for our bar. How much did you pay for your open bar including tax & gratuity.
Ours is $14 per person, or about $2,500 for 175 guests, and that’s for 5 hours.
Mine is included with our venue. There was/is no option for a cash bar or limited bar.
We got really lucky! Our reception was at a private club owned by a friend. He knew that people in our social circle don’t drink much, so he offered us an open bar for 60 people for five hours for $250. Needless to say, we jumped at that one!
ours is 50-60 dollars pp whole night with beer, wine, cocktails and pretty decent spirit brands, so around 5-6 hours
Our estimate is $4500 for 160 people for 7.5 hours of open bar
Ours comes out to about $40/person. Full open bar for 7 hours $5,500.
We aren’t doing open bar (probably consumption), but ours is $8/pp/ph, so for 4 of the 6 hours, it’s $3200. More than our catering. :
ETA: And that’s for beer, wine, and well liquor.
We haven’t made the official decision but the place we’re most likely going to use is only $7.50 a person.
Ours is a good deal I think!
It’s $9 per person for the first hour, and $3 per person every hour after that.
We’re expecting to have roughly 45 guests.
So $405 for the first hour, and $135 every hour after.
A 4 hour open bar [from 8 – midnight] will cost us $810. That is however, BEFORE taxes & gratuity.
Our package is the 3rd package available and it comes with domestic beers, house wines, soft drinks, juices, house & call liquors, and heineken.
They also offer a coffee & tea service, but we are just going to buy a large coffee urn and do that ourselves.
