My veil was 199. It is a two tier fingertip length with scattered swarovski crystals. It is beautiful. (:

I’m not sure what the original price is, but I got mine for free from the bridal shop for purchasing my dress there!

I made mine.  I was so shocked at the salon prices I couldn’t bring myself to buy one.  I went directly to the fabric store and got a pattern, lace, a comb, and tulle and made my own fingertip length, lace edged veil for $8. 🙂

Mine was semi custom made from a seller on etsy and I only paid 60 for it. It came today and it is amazing. I wore it for about an hour twirling around our house because I was so excited!!

I had two veils both adorned with swarovski crystals. I had no idea they would be so expensive. My bridcage was $160 and my fingertip veil was $295. I got the bridal shop to let me purchase them for $400.

I wish I didn’t fall in love with my elbow-length veil at DB (Item #V162; $149), but it went perfectly with the lace tea-length dress I chose. I literally picked it up after trying on and ordering my dress. It was either between that or a bridal cage veil headpiece ($129).

Got one free with my dress (normally, $150), but didn’t like it, so made a cathedral one myself (~$20 for materials). Didn’t know how to answer -)

When I found my dress, they tried to sell me the veil they put on me, which was nice… but certainly not $900 nice. I couldn’t even fathom spending almost a grand on a veil. The worst part is it wasn’t anything special — no fancy lace, material, or crystals — just a simple cathedral length veil with a flat satin edge.

I’m now in the process of buying one and looking to spend around $100-$150 max. I found one I’m in love with on Etsy for $135, which I will probably order — I’m just waiting for the swatch to okay the fabric/color.

@Beezysbreezy:  Ooo! I’ve been considering a chiffon veil. I’d love to see a pic if you have one.

I haven’t bought a veil yet but am hoping to keep it under $75. My new dress is so simple, and I want a veil that can still give a wow factor while not being too mismatched with my dress.

Ugh mine was waaaay too much. I paid over $800.00 for a custom length and added crystals.

Mine was FREE, but that’s because it’s something I chose with the $400 I had in credit for spending >$1,000 on my dress.  Retail on the veil was $240.  Single tier, fingertip length with crystals on the edge:

Mine was $630 (inlcuding tax and shipping). It’s a custom cathedral length and 108″ wide with tons of beading and crystals. The veil I used as my inspiration was over $1,500 so I think I did good (sort of lol)

@bella731:  Thanks so much! If I could have someone make mine I definitely would have as the cost is outrageous.

I am selling mine if anyone is interested in saving some money. 🙂
