Simple, raw-edged cathedral from Etsy for $35.  Smile  It was exactly what I wanted, but was well over $150 at bridal stores.  Ridiculous.

    $0!

My veil is my mom’s vintage off-white mantanilla.

I wasn’t planning to wear it – but by pure coincedance, it matches and compliments my dress perfectly.

I had two of them. The short one was $75 and the Cathedral veil was $119. Both from David’s Bridal. The long one, as you can kind of see had beading on it. The short one was gorgeous. It has beading that went all around the sides and matched my dress. I loved my veils.

Mine was just over $100, I think. It was a two layer fingertip length (I think!) veil with rhinestones on the edges. I really liked it. :]

Mine was from Etsy $100 (including shipping).  Sort of expensive for only wearing it for about 40 minutes lol but the lace details on the edge match my dress well and the pictures will live on forever!!  We are also perserving it with the dress and my mom’s original veil in case someone at some point in the future may want to use it again then they will have a choice of veil and length.

i LOVED my veil on my wedding day…I paid $250 which was an amazing deal…it was custom, handmade with swarovski crystal (double sided crystals) all along the edges…multiple people commented on the veil and how they could see the crystals were sparkling against the back of my wedding dress while we were getting married..I want to frame it I love it so much LOL!

@Beezysbreezy:  That’s where my veil came from too.  She’s been on vacation for a while I contacted her before her vacation and contacted her again during and she made me one anyway because I had talked to her previously.  I hope she comes back I’d love to recommend her to friends her work was fantastic!!  And the way she wraps them with some much care is just amazing.

$6.  I just got one from JoAnn fabrics and it was half off.  I only wore it for like 10 minutes, so I didn’t want to spend a lot on it.  I think I should have done without it anyway.

I had mine custom made from a local woman who works out of her home and is AMAZING! It cost me $170 and was full lace. I priced out the same one at the bridal salon where I got my dress and it was $560! I like the one she made for me better, too. 🙂

My veil was a splurge at $300, but it the only detail I dreamed of and envisioned years before my wedding day.

I’m making my own veil, but spent a lot on really nice materials. About $350 for silk tulle and 6″ galloon alencon lace. Plus all the time I’ve put into making it. I’ve seen similar veils retail for $700 or more.
