@crackktheskyy:

           We ordered from http://www.basicinvite.com. We spent a total of $108 (including shipping) for 75 invitations (they sent 79). That was just the invitation and envelope. We don’t need RSVP cards, menu cards, directions etc because we have a wedding website for all of this which saves us money.  We just picked a plain and simple design because we knew we’d rather spend money on the wedding/reception than spend a ton of money for something that ends up in the garbage. I had never heard of basic invite until I was searching google. Customer service was amazing. They called to verify our colours we had chose and wanted to make sure we were ok with everything before we ordered. We received them within 3 weeks of ordering. They always seem to have promotions on their website to save money. Right now for the month of march its 15% off.

@crackktheskyy:  Hello, our invitations were $9.30 each (this included the invitation and all the inserts, envelope, the RSVP card and return envelope).  I think we ordered about 10 or 15 more than people we invited to have extra.

I am feeling very lucky! My SIL is designing our invitations for free and getting them done with letterpress for just over 200$ for 120 invitations (we’re getting the envelopes for free). My Fiance is annoyed that it’s taking so long, plus he doesn’t get what letterpress is, ha ha.

We got two deals for $200 of minted.com merchandise for only $100 from gilt (thanks to a tip from a bee), so we paid $253 for 130 minted.com minibook invitations and silver envelopes.  The minibook invites include the invite, accommodations, travel, and hotel info.

We are saving the silver envelopes (that they addressed) for our thank yous and, instead, used papersource envelopes – $42, with diy liners (free color copies of a cute, but expensive papersource fine paper I already had) – $0, return address was done with embosser we already had – $0, gf handwrote addresses and internal guest names – $0, we printed rsvp deadline insert at home (because different for different guests) on vellum – $12, made pocketfolds – $30, belly bands – $10, and lil ovals for guest’s names – $10.

So total was $357 for 130 minted.com minibooks (color and pictures, including invite, hotel/travel/weather/website info), rsvp inserts, pocketfold, belly bands, internal name ovals, hand-addressed inner and outer names, and envelope liners.  Breaks down to $2.75 each, with some extras left over, and with addressed thank you card envelopes as a bonus.

Wow I can’t believe how much some spent on invites :0 I only spent 32.96 and they were double sided with custom picture on the back. I only needed 35 of them but still.

Somewhere between $550-600 for 75 custom designed on Etsy. Invite w/ kraft envelope, RSVP w/ kraft envelope, & twine tie with tag that has our initials on it. The RSVP was customized with menu selections, too. It also included calligraphy guest addresses and return addresses on the envelopes.

We got ours off of vista print. They were about $1/invite + an additional $10 for envelope seals. so it was about $60 because we only needed 50 invites. But I left them in my checkout box until I was sure I wanted them. I get an email 2 weeks later telling me I have a 50% off coupon for the items in my cart. So with tax and s/h it was about $36.

Out invites weren’t incredibly fancy and it was all on one page. The invite was on the front and reception/RSVP info was on the back. I loved them though. They fit our style perfectly.
