Another maryland bee here, but our venue is in PA. It was 5k total and includes everything pretty much except food, linens, etc. Our caterer is from md and should be around 2.5-3k, depending on what options we end up going with

South Western Ontario (Canada)
120 guests
Sunday afternoon wedding, private golf course

$995 rental fee (Includes tables, chairs, table cloth, your choice of linen napkin colour, plus use of entire venue for the whole day)

$24.95 for brunch buffet, $34.95 for deluxe brunch buffet (Roast beef au jus, crepes, omelette station Etc., deluxe includes crab cakes, stuff like that)
$21.00 for 3 course plated lunch (Stuffed chicken), and goes up from there

They make their $$$$ on the booze- wine starts at $26 a bottle for the cheap stuff xD

Also this is a SUPER nice venue, but for some reason goes way less than many in the area (I used to work here, so the rental fee is being waived for me. AMazing food and gorgeous views)

$85 per head for food (buffet), and beverages (soft drink, beer, wine, coffee and tea). It is normally $100 per head but they gave us a 15% discount. There is no venue fee. We have use of the entire venue for 7hours and have a back up option ready for the ceremony incase it rains. I am in Melb, Aus.

Ours is in upstate NY.  For 200 guests- venue is free; catering (including open bar, champagne toast, hand passed and stationary apps, served meal, cake cutting) is $15,000.

In NJ I had a rare find of an affordable venue. It is $85 per person including open bar and taxes and gratuity! I’m looking at 150-170 guests so ballpark of $14,000.00

My ceremony will be held at my home church – $350

Reception at a hall in Beltsville, MD (Signature Blue Events) $720/5 hours

Decor package (which was a steal) – $750

Catering (done by my fiance, couldn’t remember the acronym, and family) – $500 (estimate)

Hall allows us/guests to bring in own alcohol – $100 (estimate)

Cupcake/anniversary cake – $280

I’m planning on about 125 guests.

Our minimum for the space is 30K. This includes catering which will be provided by the venue.

The venue that we toured and want to book is under 5K all in (venue + catering). Less than 100 guests, weekday wedding, in the evening

Location – Ontario, Canada

110 guests, New England, private residence (so venue costs are all the rentals brought in)

$8,300 – rentals & associated costs (including delivery & tax)

$8,900 – food & beverage (including gratuities and tax)

$17,200 total

ETA: the “venue” cost doesn’t include decor. It’s only for tent, dance floor, tables, chairs, flatware, plates/glasses, linens, lighting, toilets, heater, tent side-walls, and bar as well as associated costs of little things like having to move a small tree, scoping the ground to make sure there are no underground utilities where tent stakes will go, etc.

  • Wedding: Beach

Our wedding is at a beach resort in Traverse City, Michigan. The venue cost us $2800, that includes tables, chairs, use of mikes etc for ceremony shuttle to extra parking, and set up etc.

The resort does not cater, so we brought in an outside person and the total there is going to be about $2600 for 120 people. That includes appetizers for cocktail hour, a full buffet meal, and dessert.

Ceremony/Church: $1500 + priest stipened of $200

(if we had got married in our parish it would have been free but it was not pretty, there was no center aisle & we LOVED the downtown Catholic church as it is beautiful)

Reception (aka food/drink): about $18,000

was $70/$74 per person for catering (no venue charge because of catering, that’s how most are in my area). This also included several appetizers during cocktail hour, 2 bottles of champagne on every table, open bar for 4 hours before switching to an import beer and house wines. We had 160 people (+ 6 vendors)
