I was just quoted $65 for hair, and $60 for makeup. Do you think this is reasonable? I have nothing to compare it to, so I was hoping some of you would jump in and let me know what is typical/too expensive/good deal.
*I’m adding a poll, so I can see the different prices people are at.

This price is VERY reasonable. In fact it’s a steal! if you like their work, take it.
For my hair and makeup I’m paying $450 total. That includes the artist comming to the hotel where we’re getting ready, airbrush makeup, semi permanent eye lash extensions, and placing and styling hair extensions.

I think mine was 105 for makeup includeing airbrush and fake lashes (at my house) and 90 for hair. So 195 total. My maids were a bit cheaper 70 for each (15 extra for lashes)

I think I paid about $130 total for hair and makeup (not including tip). I went to a salon for the service.

I paid $110 for both hair & makeup.

I didn’t vote…I’m paying $380 for hair+makeup.

I don’t think your choices go up high enough. Those dollar amounts seem very low.

Wow, I had no idea at all. Im so glad I asked! I guess I will go ahead and take my lady up on her offer!
I went ahead and added new, larger amounts to the poll. Feel free to re-vote. 🙂 Thanks

I am having a friend do my hair and might do my own makeup. so anywhere from 0-75 is my guess!

I think that a great price, my hairdresser is charging $270 for hair and makeup.
I was quoted at $140 for hair and make-up (before gratuity).

My hair and makeup its so expensive. She will be coming to the hotel so I’m paying for the convenience! I will also be paying for my BMs. So it will be a lot of money. Yours is a steal!

At the place we went to, they charge $110 for hair and $70 for makeup. We got a 50% discount though, so my hair was $55 and I did my own makeup.

$500 that includes trial. I’m also having airbrush makeup and lashes. I think I might be paying too much… Oh well.

I’m really ambivalent about the makeup. (Hair, I know I need a professional for!) I never wear makeup in my daily life, hate it, am allergic to literally every foundation I’ve ever tried (crazy-sensitive skin) and almost every eyeshadow and lipstick, and I don’t want to be scratching my face on my wedding face.
On the other hand… I want to look pretty!
I’m glad I have some time to make up my mind. For the hair, it’s around 120-150 with my current stylist, but I might have to find someone else–I don’t know if she’ll drive that far.
