I spoke to 2 wedding planners, one was 4,000 and the other was 5,000, not sure if thats average, but it was enough for me to decide to do it all on my own.

I was lucky enough to find a caterer that has basically become my planner, she is helping me with all my rentals, and provides a day of coordinator, shes also recommended and given me numbers to all of the other vendors i’m using. You could look into that if this is too much over your budget.

For full-service planning, the planner will almost always charge a percentage of your final budget. Most likely 5-10 percent for a less-experienced planner, and 10-20 percent for a more well-rounded, experienced planner.

Hey girl!

I know when I booked her like a month ago, Rory @ Jubilation in Mt. Pleasant had some openings and she was doing discounts… try her out! She seems so sweet!

I think it depends on your region. Anywhere from around 600 through roughly a percentage of your budget is correct. Are you just having them do the footwork etc? Or are they making choices? I am a newer company but I usually charge about 1500 and up for full service planning but I always give my clients vendor referrals no matter what and I am pretty available when it comes to emailing, etc

I’m not that creative, and I’m just keeping it simple!  Seems to be working so far, but I’m sure we’ll see!

I am a wedding planner in South Carolina and i will be more than happy to assist any bride within the area who needs help with their wedding. Assisting brides on one of the best days of their lives is my passion to see the relief and the smiles on my brides faces during and after the planning process is PRICELESS. I am more than a planner i want to build a personal relationship with my brides so that we are on the same page.  I do not charge a consultation fee all i charge is 10 percent of your budget and even that is negotiable. Especially at this time in the economy we all need help. I do the decor my self kind of like a one stop shop , my email address is [email protected] my name is Aura just email me and i will respond as soon as possible.
