@FutureMrs.Spencer:  I think it’s really going to depend on what your favors are. I want to say my favors ended up being about $3 each, which was double what I wanted to spend!

@FutureMrs.Spencer:  I have 55 guests and it will be costing me about $20 for all of the favors. I am purchasing 4 boxes of mixed chocolates such as pot of gold and splitting them up into paper boxes, everyone will get 2-3 chocolates.

I couldn’t help myself… Darn you, Etsy!  I love Etsy so much I just might name my future daughter Etsy….

I caved in and bought these customized chocolate covered espresso bean favors.. roughly $3.25 a guest and we bought 175 just in case our guest list spills over (which it appears to be doing so.. sigh)  Total was $570

If by “normal” you mean “tries to do everything super cheap”, I am spending about $0.80 pp for personalized koozies with a funny limerick on them. Our friends and family are not concerned with tackiness and like to drink, so I think it’ll be perfect. Otherwise I probably wouldn’t even do a favor as I think they are a little pointless.

We spent $7 per person. Small bottles of local gourmet olive oil. People loved it!

@FutureMrs.Spencer:  I’m not sure who’s “normal” these days:-) but we spent 86 bucks on 2 pounds M&M’s in our colors with our names and images (which you can’t see) on them. We also bought tulle and ribbon to wrap them up in, which I believe was about 20 bucks. We will have appx. 130 guests.

@greenidlady:  Oooh someone else who bought M&M’s! We bought 10 lbs of the personalized M&M’s in our wedding colours. That’s $250 divided by 80 people, so a little over $3/person. I haven’t figured out what to put them in yet, but I think it’ll cost an extra $2/person max to get clear bags or clear boxes + ribbon.

I’m not doing favors technically. My dessert table will have boxes/bags next to it if people want to take something home. I think that’s good enough! Every single wedding I’ve been to I haven’t noticed favors or taken them home. Plus why do I need a tea light candle holder with the bride/groom’s name on it? Spend the money on more alcohol… the guest will appreciate that more!

I kinda think favors are pointless so my limit is $3 per person!

I like to think I’m a normal human being… I plan to spend $3-4 on each person. Guest list of 60.

We’re having a Destination Wedding in Mexico, so our guest list is pretty small(roughly 22people). The only favor I am planning is paper fans in our wedding colors. we’ll have them on the seats at the ceremony site for guest to use. Our ceremony is at 5pm so the heat shouldnt be unbearable but always good to have a way to cool off. Should make for some fun pictures too!

I dont have an exact price yet but from briefly looking it should be under $50 total.
