I found a florist on Thumbtack from the East Bay who will be putting together some arrangements for me for about $500 (bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmanids bouquets, 1 large cake table arrangement, 2 corsages, 3 boutineers). Then we’re going to the SF Flower Mart to pick up big blooms for the centerpieces. I’m putting those together with a bridesmaid the Thursday before the weeding and will be having a someone set them up Saturday morning. I didn’t want it to be floral heavy as the urban winery in SF will be somewhat decorated already by the owner (string lights and candles).

I did the flowers for my cousins wedding a bit North of San Francisco. It was super easy because SF has a fantastic flower mart where anyone from the public can go and get their own flowers in bulk. My aunt and I went before the wedding in the AM and picked up the flowers and arranged them at the house where the wedding took place. I did one example table arrangement and then my aunt and cousins helped put together the other ones copying the one I Made. It really wasn’t too hard. Google SF flower mart. You can even go ahead of time, look at flowers and write down the names and list and then have someone go the day of or day before and shop the list you gave them and bring it up to the venue and arrange there. The flower mart even has a large couple of shops right next to the flower mart where you can also pick up any kind of vase you could possibly think of for cheap. Go check it out and see if it would work to do it that way. Wayyy cheaper than hiring a florist.

Oh and I also made the groomsmen boutineers. Super super easy. I watched one YouTube video, bought wire and green floral tape and some pins. Seriously looked amazing and cost me maybe 20 dollars max to make. I also made floral letters myself for the main table.

Thank you so much for the replies and sharing your expertise everyone!
Based on what was said here and more research, I’ve budgeted ~10k for flowers. I’m not sure if that will get me the volume of florals I’m envisioning, but I could also augment from the flower mart! 🙂

Oh my gosh, it must have looked like heaven when you walked in there! Had I been a guest at your wedding, I would have really annoyed my husband by raving about your flowers the whole time we were there 🙂
