I spent under $75 for 150 invites, however, I designed them and printed them at home. It really depends on how fancy you want to go as well as how many you need.

The ones I looked at online came out to $270 for 60 invitations, but I got a coupon from Michael’s and bought two invitation kits for $40 and I’m printing them at home.

It depends how fancy you want them, and where you go to get them printed.

I’ve heard good things about vista print, but they don’t seem to be anything elaborate – I’ll most likely get mine from there – they also have 50% off coupons often.

I spent $51 on Groupons for VistaPrint plus $31 for shipping for 280 invitations. I combined the Groupons with a discount on RetailMeNot for half off, which is available all year as far as I can tell. You just need to add the discount after the Groupon.

Oh, and I designed my own and then had them printed through VistaPrint.

I paid $100 for 50 invitations at minted.com and they were professionally printed. I only got the basic invitations. I’m printing my own RSVP cards, costing around $30.

I had mine letterpressed and gold foil stamped.  I paid around $4 per set including postage.

I paid 400 for 30. That included printing of 5×7 cards from weddingpaperdivas, along with its matching RSVPs, thank u cards, enclosure cards, name place cards, and return address labels; pocketfolds, colored backer cards, and local professional custom cutting to size, assembly, ribbon wrapping, and address printing on envelopes (outer and RSVP envelope). not including save the dates, those were 75 for 30.

@lovelypinky40:  I spend $45 on 30 invites/30 envelopes.

I designed them myself and had them printed through VistaPrint. They aren’t fancy at all – just one 5×7 card with all the info on it. But they work for our small wedding.

Mine were about a dollar per set (invitation and RSVP card) after a %50 discount. They are embossed I believe.  I’m happy with them.

I printed my own map/direction cards. It cost me about $40 for the paper.

Including postage will greatly increase the cost as well!

@lovelypinky40:  I speant a little under $10 for my invites and response cards. I got them on clearance at Target. They were DIY invites.  Invitations were the last on my list of important things. I get that they set the tone and are fun, but it is only paper and they get thrown away.  My invites were very cute and fit my theme, so I got lucky. 🙂

@lovelypinky40:  I’m not sure how much they “usually” cost, but we spent 650 dollars for 200 invitations and RSVP cards with envelopes. I should have only ordered 100 since each card typically is sent to two people, a couple, or a family. I have heard of people doing their own invitations for much less and people paying up to 10 dollars per invitation.

I ordered a full set from Wedding Paper Divas and sent out about 165.  They cost a little over $500 not including postage.
