I personally limit my wedding posts on FB a ton! I waited about 2 weeks to announce we were engaged (photos, relationship status change), and then I made one status update about crying while watching wedding videos. So two things, and it’s been 6 months of engagement!

I created a list of people who will be invited to the wedding and I will post so that only those people can see ๐Ÿ™‚

None at all, I haven’t changed my status either ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m not inviting too many people, I don’t want to feel guilty when people start asking me when and where.

I don’t say anything specific, but do sometimes say things cryptically. Like, “7 months to go”…

Another one who posted absolutely nothing.  I sent private FB messages to those actually invited, to get their postal addresses.  But I avoided public posts.  I was brought up that it was rude to mention a party in front of people not invited to it.  And for the people who were invited, I didn’t want to discuss wedding details, because I wanted them to be surprised.

Nothing at all. I don’t want all the people I ‘sort-of’ know from high school knowing my bits and pieces. And my facebook is fairly well locked down, and I do a friends cut every few months or so to get rid of people I never really spoke to,

That and I’ve got people on facebook who I only have on there because I like to get some gossip, but I don’t want them getting the same from me.

@rebwana:  You had a PIRATE CRUISE for your Bachelorette party? You’re my new hero. Where was that?

i haven’t posted anything on facebook either. i did change my status to engaged, but i waited almost a week so that we could tell our families and friends first. i will probably post our engagement pictures too when we get them back (hopefully this week!)

I only comment about big things, like when we got engaged, our engagment session, etc. I’ll probably make a status about dress shopping, but I don’t want to talk about it too much because I know the majority of people on my Facebook won’t be invited and don’t really care about my plans hahha

Other than the being engaged part, I haven’t posted anything else – and I won’t. The only people who listen to my *endless* wedding talk are my mother, best friend, Future Mother-In-Law and sometimes FH. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hardly anything! I just didn’t want to open up the can of worms of aquaintances asking if they were going to be invited.

I changing my relationship status to engaged, I did post some ring shots, and few engagement photos. Other people posted wedding stuff and tagged me in it, which I was okay with. Stuff like “wedding dress shopping with Xxxxxx”. Also a few pictures were posted from my bachelorette party.

After the wedding I posted cell phone pics, but I’m still waiting on my pro ones – those will get posted.
