Umm…I’m on my first glass of wine of the night. Other than that, I’ll plead the Fifth. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hm, what is that they say about lawyers and alcohol…

zero for me – both my parents were alchoholics so i cant stomach the taste and my Fiance thankfuly will only have alchohol about 3 times per year (last week at a conference for him was the first drink this year for him)

but i can never walk past the duty free at airports so we have have a fully stocked bar with fabulous bottles, we just never use it for ourselves

Ha…I’m on my second glass of wine of the night too, ๐Ÿ™‚ but I’ve started pouring myself only half glasses in a tiny glass so I can refill more often without actually drinking more…if that makes sense!

As to how much I drink…way more during this wedding planning process, I can tell you that!!

I’m a lightweight.  I drink 2 glasses of wine an I’m out like Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I only like one kind of wine:  moscato.

I like one kind of mixed drinks:  kamikazi’s

Not a big beer fan but if I drink it, it’s Corona Light with lots of lime.

Hmm, I’d say an average 3 or 4 drinks a week — almost always wine, either with dinner or at a party, but never more than 2 glasses per night.  (I’m an aspiring wine geek, but also a lightweight.) And GretaB, I am so with you on the relationship between wedding planning and wine consumption ๐Ÿ˜‰

My Fiance and I do not drink. My Fiance is a former alcoholic and drug addict but has been 100% clean for 15 years! My hard-working man still attends meetings to help newbies out by being their sponsor. I never could tolerate alcohol as I lack a key enzyme that helps detoxify alcohol in the body; it’s genetic so almost no one drinks in my family. Oddly enough, I love cooking with alcohol and I am famous for my Deer Beer chili

I drink socially, consuming copious amounts in one night (about once per month on average). I believe this is considered binge drinking?  hmmm.. I drank a lot more when I was in school, but I’ve calmed down a lot!

My Fi works for a beer company (a big one!) and he drinks all the time. He’s good about it though, not to excess or anything

On average, 2-3 drinks over the course of an evening – maybe slightly more at weddings . My bf does not drink so typically I’ll only have 1 drink when I’m at dinner with him.

@Mrbee – try drinking lots of water or having cheese and crackers w/your wine to avoid the hangover! I’m the same after a couple glasses too.

Hardly ever. Maybe once or twice every couple of months. More in the summer with cookouts and bonfires. It’s a crime not to enjoy an adult beverage while sitting in front of a fire.

I don’t drink at all, and neither does boy. Honestly, I’ve had too many friends get raped while drunk for me to consider it… I know many people enjoy it responsibly, but I choose not to ๐Ÿ™‚

Hmm… good question. When we’re together we might have a glass of wine over dinner, but when we’re apart (we don’t live together), I tend to "forget" to drink for a couple of weeks. So, it depends. I’m more of a social drinker, though, so once we’re living in the same place I’m sure we’ll be cracking open more bottles of wine.

And beer. Gotta love the Portland brew.
