I don’t know about cost, but Bed Bath & Beyond is a good place to start, I like Turkish, but whatever works, just go make out with everything they have and buy whatever feels the best!

We get the cheap ones from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They’re so nice! They absorb well AND they’re soft! I think we pay $4.99 each for them?

If you live near a discount store like TJMaxx/Homegoods or Marshall’s, there are some great deals on pricey, high-end towels and there are usually a lot of colors and patterns to choose from.

I like bath sheets because they’re huge compared to a normal-sized bath towel. Because I’m used to my bath sheet, I always feel naked when I go to a hotel and they have the normal-sized ones.

I like towels from Restoration Hardware.  They are so soft, don’t shrink, and have stayed nice for a long time.  So worth the extra money.

I get bamboo towels from Viva Terra.  I’m on my second set, but the first set stayed SUPER soft and didn’t fade or get dingy for over 2 years.   I got a new set on sale right after Christmas. They are pricy, but they are eco friendly and way softer than cotton.

We have some of the slightly higher end ones from bed bath… the microdry brand. They are super soft and I love them.

I got some nice ones from Christmas Tree Shop, not sure what the brand is, but they are soft and absorbant 🙂

We got some new towels from our bridal shower from bed bath and beyound they were $9.99 each, I liked them so much I bought a bunch more! They are a good middle range price, not cheap but not super expensive and they are soft.

My only advice wash the towels before use to defuzz them.

I have the quick drying ones from Target. They have never gotten crunchy or worn out and mine are several years old.

I’m a huge fan of the Hotel Collection towels from Macy’s. Second runner up are the Restoration Hardware ones.

@missporkchops:  +1 on the hotel collection.  They’re normally 34 I think but on sale all the time.  I think I got mine for $17 on sale with coupon.
