Ok, for various reasons I would really like to give up mowing my lawn. If you have hired someone to mow your grass, just wondering how much you pay? I have about 1/3 of an acre and I live in the midwest.
Last year I hired someone to plow my driveway and it was worth every penny (and much less expensive than I thought it would be!)

Right now my husband does it. But, our neighbor had a neighborhood kid do his yard for like $30, and he’s got about a half acre. Not sure what a company would cost you

I live in a gated community and our maintenance is $ 261 per month (required) which sucks but they do everything. Our grass gets mowed every monday, palm leaves picked up, things tidied and it includes the water in the sprinkler system that is typically ever ynight depending on the drought conditions

I live in Ohio too and have 5 acres, I couldn’t imagine paying someone to mow it! However for kicks and bc Darling Husband was being lazy and not helping I asked a friend who owns a landscaping business and his print out says for your size approx $50-75/mth for 2 mowings, edging and trimming.

I think we’re getting ripped off, we pay $15 every week for just our front lawn & its just a standard size lawn…and they don’t landscape it, just mow, weedwhack, edge, and blow.

I would love just for someone to mow it. I don’t bother making it look nice, just shorter, and it takes too long!
Thanks for the input guys. I used to shovel my driveway by hand but it is so inexpensive to get it plowed. I am really hoping that I can just get it mowed for a decent price.

We have a company come in every week and mow, weed, sod if needed, hedge, and maintain the lawn for $150 a month. It’s totally worth it to us as we’re a bit of work-a-holics and the weekends is all we have to spend time together.

We pay $65 a month for our front and back yard, mowed weekly.

It’s at least $35.00 each time here…so I do it myself with a push mower, or wait for my neighbour to get fed up with my lawn and do it for me!

AnnieAAA : I live in Baton Rouge La and pay $60 a week for very tiny front yard and not even a half of an acre in the back, and he weeds my flower bed, edges everything, and prunes my flowers as needed. I also tip him $20 …July 22, 2016
