We spent about $160 every 10-14 days.  That doesn’t include going out to eat, though,

400/month (we don’t break it down by week).  That includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, over the counter medications, vitamins, etc.

Eating out is a separate line item (and probably about the same in the month!)

sunelake27:  Usually about $80-$100 a week, we go to BJ’s wholesale (just like Costco) once a month or every other month depending on what we need. I try to go to our local fruit market every week and buy veggies and fruits for the week-much cheaper that way.

DH and I are eating Paleo and cut out all the processed anything from our diet.  I’ve gotten ours trimmed down to between $75 and $80 a week.  We very rarely eat out (so don’t include that in our grocery budget) and I usually meal plan for all of our meals and go shopping once a week.

We don’t plan groceries very well at all. We buy too much of stuff and forget or don’t use it, so we waste a lot of food. And I really don’t even know how much we spend, because we don’t budget anything. I’m guessing $150-200? There’s a lot of “what should we eat for dinner tonight let’s go buy something” shopping.

We spend around $100/week average. We don’t eat a full meal out (usually happy hour drinks and apps.) so I guess we would spend about $475 a month total for groceries and those outings.

We spend about $75/week in traditional groceries, and spend $50/week eating out.  We get to spend that $50 however we like, so sometimes it’s a million Subway lunches, sometimes it’s one fairly nice meal, or two dinners out at a local pub … so on and so forth!  The cost of living is very inexpensive where we live, though.
