I used to only buy less expensive jeans (like under $30) and I realized that I never loved them, or they didn’t fit right, or whatever. Several years ago I discovered “designer” (i’m not a designer girl…) jeans and will never turn back. I love Paige, Seven for all Mankind, citizens of humanity, etc. They are expensive ($150-200), but they last FOREVER. I still have my first three pairs that I bought over 8 years ago and they are in great shape. They just fit so well and hold up great. I spend a lot less overall on jeans now than I did when I’d buy a bunch of less expensive ones looking for the perfect pair.

- Wedding: October 2014 - Disney
I pay about 15-25. I’m a small size so I wait till American Eagle puts them on sale and buy with coupons.
I save my money for things like purses :/

i don’t buy jeans very often and have found the cheaper ones don’t fit properly. i’d rather pay over $100 for a pair that fit and will last than continually paying $20-$30 for ones that don’t fit and wear out fast. i love paige premium denim and citizens for humanity. paige fits me better so that’s usually what i buy (again, i don’t buy them very often).

You should check out their website and/or sign up for their email list if you haven’t already. Sometimes they have ridiculous sales…like 50% off. I always stock up when they do.

I’ll spend up to $50 on a pair of nice jeans. But most of my jeans I have now were more like $20. Every pair of expensive jeans I’ve bought got ruined too quickly.
I usually stick with Old Navy because they carry Tall/Long length, they’re not expensive…and I have a credit card…lol

My favorites are the Zelda Barely Boot from Express. I think they’re $80 normally, but they’re often buy one/get one 1/2 off, plus you can use a coupon too.

The majority of my jeans are usually $19.99 – I try not to go over that. Occasionally I will splurge on some Guess Jeans but that is like once in a blue moon. I don’t know how people spend that much on jeans – FH spent $150 on jeans one time I was like “are you crazy”….I was like you better wear those jeans all the time LOL no offense to those who do it all the time but just not for me.

Oh I totally should do that but have you noticed Miss Me has been messing around with their sizes? Like some are looser and more easy fit and I feel like I need to try them own. I guess I could always make sure the buyer has a return policy. I am gonna have to look at ebay next time. I shop at Buckle too much. I swear when they see my coming they just start throwing stuff inthe dressing room…..which can be annoying as crap!!

I am really rough on my jeans, so not only can I not justify spending a lot of money on something that’s gonna see a lot of wear and tear, I am continually replacing the pairs that are looking too “distressed.”
We’ve got a second hand store in town that does a good job of only buying used clothes that still look new. I shop for jeans here whenever I can — sometimes the brands I prefer aren’t in stock in my size, but the trips there are worth it since I’m paying less than 50% of retail price without exception.

are you a member of the website HauteLook? They are a part of Nordstrom’s and they have 7’s on sale quite a bit. They had a few styles this week for $89. Let me know if you need an invite to HauteLook and I can send you one. It’s a great site!

$100-$125 on sale for jeans that retail for upwards of $200. I have 7 or 8 pairs that I reguarly wear and wear them till they’re worn out for 7-10+ years though. I *just* retired a pair I bought in 2003.

I spend about $20/pair on jeans. My issue with all the more expensive brands I’ve tried on is that while they might fit well and make my pretty flat ass look good… so do my Old Navy flirt jeans.
My main issue is that being 5’9″ and all leg a lot of brands don’t do long inseam, or if they do it’s not in a size 6. OR there’s a ton of distressing/decoration on the jeans. I’m not paying $100+ for jeans that already have holes in them!

I buy Lucky’s on sale then wear them to death. I think they look best on me and I get a ton of wear out of them, so I’m willing to pay more for it. I used to buy cheaper ones but realized they never quite fit me right.
