I spent probably around $500-600, budgeting about $200 or so for my hubby. We’re pretty introverted and only give gifts to immediate family members…we’re each other’s best friends so we definitely spoil each other!

I probably spent around $300 total.

I budget around $50 for everyone I buy gifts for which is my immediate family and one person from my husband’s family since they do a secret santa gift exchange.

My husband and I don’t exchange gifts at Christmas since we already get so much from our families and we are really trying to minimize as much as we can. And we are living on a pretty tight budget trying to save as much as we can before TTC next year so any large gifts or experience gifts we would get for each other are out of budget this year anyway.

I don’t think I spend as much as other people because we cover lots of people. For my SO, it was a bit more this year than normal (Fry’s gift card & Billabong wetsuit). So that’s about $300. Immediate family, about $50 each. Friends about $20 each then coworkers & neighbors about $10 each.

$100 on my husband (a new wallet and the yarn i used to crochet him an unreasonably large scarf)
$15 on friends (star wars earrings and socks since we traveled to Sout Korea to see the movie)

i’m not super into christmas and we live away from our families in a country that isn’t big on the holiday.

I always say I’ll stay within budget and be organized.

Once again, I accomplished neither.
