Depends but probably 500 ish. We have some weeks under 100 and some over, depending on if there is a sale on something we stock up on. We give ourselves a 100.00 per week budget for two people. Also this will depend on people’s geographic area, we live in a suburb of seattle.

I’d say an average of $100 a week for myself, Fiance, and a bunny (fresh veggies for him).

We spent about $65 a week for two adults, give or take a little depending on if we have cleaning supplies thrown in the mix. We budget $100 a month for going out to eat/dates.

I stick to about $80/week average, between groceries, Costco, trader joes, the Asian grocery, whole foods, wherever I’m buying food I guess, for me, DH, and DD.

We spend $500-$600 a month on food, which includes groceries and dining out. Usually more toward the lower end of that range. I’d say $300-$350 of that is groceries.

Probably 4 or 500 ish.  I am pregnant so it is a high priority to me right now to get the best things I can.  DH actually gets all of his food free from his job (he got laid off and is now working at an organic deli while applying to jobs- so that is a perk!)

We spend about $400-500/month on groceries for 2 adults (DH & I).  Our dining out budget is about $1,000 (including drinks with friends, etc) so total food budget is around $1,500/month in DC Metro area. A caveat is that we both looove wine, so that contributes to our high(er) food budget.

Wo both eat out 5 days/week for lunch and have dinner at home 3-4 nights/week.

Love this post! Always curious as to how much other bees spend on food & drink.

Too much, around $100-120/week or $400-500/month for two adults. I like to buy organic and local when I can, plus we try to buy certain things like “extra lean %” beef that tends to rack up costs. We’ve been talking about needing to reduce our grocery bill, though. Bye bye local microbrews, top sirloin, and organic squash…

We also spend around $70/month on dog food for our two giants, one of which has a leg injury. They both need a glucosamine-rich diet for their joints.

I don’t even really know. Fiance eats a ton of meat, and if we include the expensive food I give my cat I bet it’s like $1000.

We spend about $200 every 2 weeks for 2 adults and our dd. I’m definitely a coupon mom I get a lot for that $200. I could really skip food shopping if I wanted to put we like to be loaded. Never know when we are going to have guest or a bunch of kids come over! And we order out on the nights that I dont get done work until 8. Usually 2 nights a week.

About $1000 for 2 adults and 1 teenage boy, as organic and local as possible, covers all breakfasts, my and Mr. LK’s lunches, and dinners 6 nights a week. Teen LK opts to buy lunch at school and we have 1 night a week when I am too lazy to cook.

We spend less than 100$ for two adults. We use the coupons in the Sunday paper and make EVERYTHING we can at home, condiments, bread, potato chips, pancakes, soups, stews etcc. Plus we grow everything we can at home, I see no reason to spend more than $100
