Holy… where are you ladies working out that you can wear yoga pants for a full workout? And what are you doing cause I literally feel like running shorts and a t-shirt is too much sometimes.  I cannot imagine running or doing any type of workout in full length yoga pants- and we’re talking winter in Buffalo lol. I can barely wear a hoodie in the snow.

@kpcascio:  I do hot yoga and I have no issues with full pants or capris. I won’t have a problem wearing shorts once I’m in better shape. However, I wish that there would be an unspoken rule about shorts in my studio like @FLBlonde93:  I’m far from a prude and if you’ve got it flaunt it! But I’m sorry some shorts styles aren’t sports wear IMO they look more like intimate wear. Especially, when I comes to yoga. I’m usually in the last row and hate having to look up and see someone’s ass cheek completely out hanging of their “shorts”, balls or a downward dog camel toe. Like really? I don’t like feeling like I’m your gyno. But some people are exhibtionists so what can you do LOL.

@FLBlonde93:  I can relate on the shorts issue.  I wore shorts to my first Pilates class and felt like a fool!  everyone was in some sort of pants.

I got capri length yoga pants from Target (Champion brand I believe) for $35-40.  they work pretty well, but I only wear them to pilates/outdoor running.

Walmart, Target or Old Navy are where I usually buy my workout clothes.  I don’t like to spend tons of money on stuff that I sweat in.  Especially since I’ve lost a lot of weight, all the pants I bought previously fall off me during my workouts….annoying.

I workout at least 3 days a week but anywhere from 3-5 days.

@FLBlonde93:  Thank you.  Its nice to be able to fit back in clothes that I haven’t been able to wear in 5 years.  Over the weekend I cleaned out my closet and got rid of so much stuff.  I was keeping my “fat” clothes as well as my “skinny” clothes.  I decided that I wasn’t keeping my “fat” clothes anymore because I wasn’t going to ever wear them again.

@bklynbridetobe:  You will.  Persistence and determination to get to a goal.  It doesn’t happen overnight (unfortunately) but it will happen.  I found that by eating better portions and eating mostly healthy foods with occasional treats AND exercise is what worked best for me.  I used to be a big over-eater.  I would constantly eat until I felt stuffed and uncomfortable.  Now I eat until I still feel  a little hungry and then wait about 20 minutes, if I still feel hungry I eat just a little bit more but I find more often after 20 minutes my digestion kicks in and I’m not hungry anymore.

@FLBlonde93:  I yo-yo.  Ever since I was 16 my weight goes up to my highest weight and back down to my lowest.  It sucks when you get to the point of being at your highest weight and feeling uncomfortable.  So I am going to do my best to stay at a comfortable weight from now on.  It helps that I have a gym through work that only charges $16.00 a month for a membership.  For a family membership (which is what we have) its $30.00.  I have no excuses not to go.
