@FLBlonde93:  You assumed correctly! I’m a shorts girl, I get hot in the gym why would I want to wear something long? *baffles me*

@FLBlonde93:  I got my first pair of Under Armour compression tights and I’m going for a run this evening. It’s a little chilly so I can’t wait to see if the hype is true.

I spend no more than $15-$20 (and that’s pushing it) and none of my yoga pants have ever been to yoga. Or the gym. Or seen any form of exercise whatsoever.

I’ve been getting mine at Target, I think they’re Champion brand. They have good stretch and fit nice, and they’re around $20 when they go on sale

I have a pair of C9 (from Target) leggings that I’ve worn SO much, and they still look awesome. I walk on average 4-6 miles, 4-5 days per week.  they’ve held up for over a year. they’re a tiny bit faded but the fabric is in pretty good shape. they never get saggy. they were only $35.

I also like that they are mid-rise so they slightly flatten my belly w/o being uncomfortable.

    I think it’s these: http://www.target.com/p/c9-by-champion-women-s-premium-reversible-capri-tight-assorted-color/-/A-13739483#prodSlot=large_1_2

FYI: It’s the black ones I buy. I’m saying because sometimes different color fabrics wear differently.

@FLBlonde93:  ended up not going for a run, did hot yoga instead with my regular old navy capris, so the UA will have to wait for another day afterall :(. Hows the Fab outfits holding up?

I’m not sure if it’s dry fit but I love Joe brand sportswear from Superstore. Well priced, the high impact sports bras are awesome and I have never had a pair of pants/capris/shorts wear out on me 🙂

American Apparel – sweatshop free, but a little overpriced.  Pretty good quality cotton/spandex fold top pants, but I haven’t tried their workout clothing material.

GapFit – like their cotton/spandex foldover pants.  Have not tried their performance fabrics.

Athleta – Love love love the Chaturanga tights!  They are like 50-70 bucks a pop though, ugh.  They are some blend that they call pilayo.  Sweat wicking, soft hand, and they pass the “bend test” (no panties showing through when you bend over).  I actually don’t workout in mine, I just use them as pants.  ETA: They carry petite, regular, and plus size in almost everything!

underarmor – probably my favorite spandex.  I love compression clothing – it makes me feel so slick and sporty!

target – has some good stuff periodically.  Try before you buy.

I workout around 4x/week (mostly cardio and moderate strength training) and I have never understood this $100 workout pant phenomenon. Just don’t get it. Maybe someone can explain it to me.

I buy my active wear at TJ Maxx/Marshall’s where they have nice brands like Adidas and New Balance at very reasonable prices. I actually just found a really cute pair of workout pants there last week and they were $25. I even have a pic. I took it in the fitting room to make my fiance laugh because we have an ongoing joke about my “guns” (more like lack thereof!). ;P
