I sent our florist a email asking about an estimate but they haven’t gotten back to me yet.
I was originally thinking about using fresh flowers from Kroger and assembling them the day before the wedding since we only have 5 tables, but recently all of the flowers there have looked rather sad. I know it’s the middle of winter right now, but it still has me worried. I just want simple centerpieces, but I still want them to look nice since it is a very formal wedding and the reception is at a very nice restaurant.
Does anybody have a guess of what the cost per centerpiece will be if we provide the vases? I’m not picky about the flowers, these are only inspiration photos.
I just don’t know if it will be in our budget or if we should start considering other options??
What will you be doing for your centerpieces and how much will/did they cost? Pictures?? Advice on how to keep the cost down w/the florist?
(Just the one in the background with the two stems.)

If I had to guess.. $30/piece? My florist charges per flower and depending on the flower, they were between $5-$13/each

It depends on the flowers used. You’ve got everything from peonies to dahlias to ranunculus pictured, which all have different price points. Since you live in a big city, I would guess that bud vase arrangments would be $15-$30 each..? If you tell the florist that you want seasonal flowers arranged in a similiar way to your inspiration photos, that should help lower your cost.

You could give the florist your price point and ask them what the different options are within it? A good florist should be creative and considerate of your budget- they may have some great ideas on lower cost options!

Mine were included in my venue package provided by my venue, this is a guest photo. The centerpieces were silk and fine by me;

@little_d: Thats a great idea since I’m not set on any particular flowers. Do you think $20 per centerpiece is something that can be done if we provide the vases?

I definitely think so, especially as you are not doing many flowers in each arrangement!

I think they should be no more than $30 each
