My ring is so loose that it will fall off if I don’t have a snuggie on it. My Fiance thinks I should just get it re-sized but I’m afraid it won’t fit in the summer if I do. I have really crappy circulation though so my fingers tend to change size pretty drastically over the course of the year.

Ha I was just thinking about this!…. My ring is a lot looser now that it’s cold 🙁 … Damn you boney fingers!!

Edit: Ha forgot to answer your question… I would not get it sized… have you considered adding beads to the inside of the ring? I have them on mine and they help a lot. They are called size balls or size beads; the jeweler can add them for you.

It’s marginal. Definitely not enough to effect my ring size, or put them in jeopardy of falling off.

I wouldn’t get it re-sized.  I don’t like the snuggies, so I have sizing beads in my rings.  They’re a lot easier to put in/take out if you have sizing issues.

They’re good for fingers that vary in size, and help counterbalance your stone if your rings like to rotate.

mine seem to shrink loads

most of the year here its above 30 degrees,(summer its above 35) and so my ring msotly fits. but nows its colder its really quite loose =S i dont see how i could get it resized by more than 1/4 inch without it being too smal in summer

id wait and see how it fits in warm wather before you change it

Mine could probably be sized down for summer but I like it a LITTLE loose. I mean, it’s not so loose it’ll fall off, but it is definitely not tight, which I hate.

However, now that it’s gotten cold there have been mornings my ring just wants to slip right off my ringer. At the very least it is sliding all around.

What is a ring snuggie?

I shrink about half size.  I just do a ring snuggie for the winter.

What are the ring snuggies made out of? Like what kinda plastic? Considering we’d be wearing this right up against our skin…

Sometimes my ring can be a little loose, despite being a perfect fit overall. So I want to find a healthy solution for those times.

I don’t even think I can claim my fingers to be any one size. In the morning, they’re a size 8. In the afternoon, 9. When I’m walking or running around, a 9.5. Working out in the humidity, a 10.5. They seem a whole size smaller in general when it’s cold, though.

So I am having this problem. My ring fits perfectly otherwise but dang now that’s ballsasscold it could slip off it’s so loose. So where does one get these snuggie or sizing beads things?

@pinkshoes That’s a great idea! How do you tie the fishing wire off?
