My dress came in a couple weeks ago – it’s still at the shop – and I totally forgot to try it on with a crinoline. Now I just realized I’ve been looking at shoe heel heights based on just the dress itself. But I think I probably need to be looking at shorter heels if the crinoline affects the length very much. I guess I could just go back down there and try the dress on again with the crinoline and then put some of their shoes on with it…. but it’s more fun just to ask you guys! haha

Yes, the crinoline will affect the overall length of the dress since it will be poofing out the skirt.
Good thing you thought of this before you got the shoes!
I suggest you take a few pairs of shoes to the fitting so you know what heel height to buy when you shop for gorgeous wedding shoes.
Don’t you love shopping for wedding clothes?

When I ordered my gown, they made me wear a crinoline under the gown so that they could get an accurate measurement. I think that it raised the hem about an inch or so. I would bring a bunch of different heels with you when you try on your gown 🙂 How fun!!!
