(Closed) How much does it cost to change prongs?

They actually may not even charge you.  My prongs were a bit thick and I went in and asked them if they could make them thinner and they just did it no questions asked.

I’ve had prongs thinned out for free. And I’ve asked for a quote for changing single prongs to double prongs on a setting, and they quoted $200 in white gold.

Okay I would like to know this also because I don’t like the prongs on my ring at all and lately I’ve not been happy with my ring=( I picked it out and just don’t love it any more

I had the whole head of the setting changed from single prongs to split prongs. (The single prongs made my cushion looks like a princess.)  It cost around $200.

@CaliRorter:  I had to google to see the difference.  lol  Double prongs.  There is a visible gap between the two prongs on each other of the diamond.
