I would go with the bigger size because it is easer to take in a dress than it is to let out.

I don’t have a stretch mikado dress but here’s a size chart that might be helpful. Found it on a Yelp page for Vera Wang Boston. You should probably go into this purchasing knowing that you may need alterations. Good luck.

The above size chart appears to be for Vera Wang’s couture dresses and not her Vera Wang White dresses. Use the size chart on the David’s Bridal website. I would recommend scheduling an appointment at Davids Bridal and trying on the dress or the same silhouette in her line so you know how it will fit.  If you can’t try one on then order the size bigger.  It is easier to take in a dress than to let one out.

Fiona is a dress from Vera’s high-end collection which is what OP is looking for. There is/was a dress at David’s that has mikado stretch fabric though.

I don’t know about stretch mikado, but of the regular mikado dresses I tried on it was STIFF. As in, even in dresses that are a size or two too small, you can usually pull them up over your bum and get an idea- I couldn’t even get one size too small over my butt or head. Hopefully stretch fixes that problem!
