We don’t have kids yet, but there’s a daycare that’s right down the street from our new house and it’s $205/week for an infant.

$150 a week for twins. The center is owned by my husbands family member. It’s not the best daycare center and my babies have been sick a lot since being there and they’ve had overnight hospital stays due to viruses. My babies are 5 months and were premies. Needless to say we no longer do daycare. My husband works overnight so he’s home during the day it works for us now-I’m not sure about the future. Cheaper isn’t always better!!!

The CDC that I used to teach Kindergarten in charged $1600 for babies under 2, $1300 for 2 and 3 year olds, and I think $1200 for older children. We had families that paid $4000 or more a month. I have no idea how they did it. I made less in a month than they paid for their baby to be there. Lol.

Will be getting on a waiting list soon….$3068/month for an infant for 5 days a week in Manhattan. Also, this daycare gives different rates based on the household income….is that normal?
