$21,000 with set veil.
$21,000 with set veil.
$165 including shipping. It’s a vintage dress from the 70s that I got on Etsy…most of my clothes are vintage, so I knew I wanted a vintage wedding dress. I am definitely not a “strapless ballgown” type of person at all and would not feel like myself in that kind of wedding dress.
It’s in perfect condition, really COMFORTABLE (which most wedding dresses are not) and I absolutely love it and it turned out to fit me perfectly so it doesn’t even need alterations! We’re probably going to have a small, rustic/nature-themed wedding.
My budget was $500 so I was really happy to get my dress for such a good price 🙂
I am also going to be wearing some kind of flower crown (probably silk flowers) and some kind of flat shoes (because I am not going to be in pain on my wedding day!)
When all is said and done my dress and veil combined cost about 7.800. ALOT more than I expected to pay but I fell in love and my lovely parents offered to pay for it. I could not be any more grateful for such a great support system<3
$300.
Granted, every wedding dress looks “the same” to me, and I have very little interest in wedding dress shopping. I appreciate beautiful gowns, but none of them looked very “me”. I ordered a gown offline and it fits like a glove. I have a simple grecian style gown that I will dress up with a crystal sash.
I originally planned a beach wedding, but venue changed due to us wanting many more guests than we thought appropriate for the beach wedding. Still keeping my dress. I had girlfriends offer to go gown shopping, but honestly that stuff bores me to tears. I can’t stand “say yes to the dress” or other things like that. No offense (everyone has their own style!).
I plan on having it shortened after the wedding to wear on special occasions. 🙂
