mine will probably only cost about $50 – $100 USD, but I won’t know for sure until I buy the fabric. my mom is making it!! she’s a talented seamstress so I have faith in her skills. I’m so lucky 🙂 also, I’m a girl with really simple tastes, so it won’t have any fancy embellishments or anything.
the dress will be very similar to this one, but in ivory:

I’ll post pix later but, I went to davids bridal for my dress. I didn’t want to spend over 500$ on my dress because my family was buying it and also paying for most of the venue and buying my over the top cake. In monro, la though 500 gets you alot for your buck. when went to the store i had low expectations knowing i would fall in love with a gown that was 2 or 3 G’s. well :] i got a steal on my dress!!! After falling in love with it, the consultant said that my dress was on sale for 150!!! I love it too!!! its simple and stunning!!! cant wait to show everyone!!!

Stunning! That is my dream dress!
I am wearing my mother’s wedding dress, so mine is FREE! Whoop, whoop! She had pretty hip taste back in the day and it goes well with the hippie/vintage/country/rustic vibe i’m trying to pull off. You know, whatever that even means!!

OMG where did you get your dress from? I LOVE IT!

^That’s mine, it was $130 and needed no alterations. (I am 5’0″ and 110lbs, bought a size 4, if anyone was interested about the fit!)
The dress is beautiful and looks a lot more expensive than it is in person. I didn’t want to pay a ridiculous price for a dress that I will only wear once at a ~60 guest wedding haha.
