    Just high school, thanks!

Trade school or AA (culinary school, carpentry, that kind of stuff)

    BS or BA

    2+ Bachelors (double majors?)

    Law or medical school

    Educational melting pot

    I'm deciding/don't know, and/or I'm winging it

I have a MA (not an option in the poll, BTW) in Higher Education Administration – basically educational administration.  I don’t see myself going back to school for another degree but sometimes I do miss being in a classroom so I wouldn’t be surprised if I took classes again someday…

I will be done after the MBA.  Gah, right now I’m wondering why I even came back.  It’s harder than I thought.

I’m finishing my BA next spring and plan on at least getting my MA, but not immediately. My friends are going straight to grad/law school, but that would drive me INSANE. I need a break from the student role to work on other areas of my life and get my financial footing.

I am doing a PhD – and why?

I don’t know and I ask myself everyday – bad decision LOL!

I hope to finish my bachelors, for sure. And one day get my MFA in Graphic Design and one in writing. It will happen, it’s just a little far off right now – these times are tough!

I graduated from law school a couple years ago.  I went because I didn’t feel like I could do a whole lot with my BA in Criminal Justice.  Looking back, I’m not sure I would do it again, because it was a major pain in the a** and now I’m up to my ears in student loan debt.  That, and I’m not really liking what I do now.  I don’t plan on ever going back to school for anything else…I’m done with that!

I have a PharmD, and I’ve thought about going back and getting a masters, but we’ll see.  I think I’m more likely to switch to working in an academic environment, but like ejs said…darn that research.  Just not my cup of tea.

I recieved my BA, majored in english but wanted to go into publishing. But then after working in the corporate world, decided it wasn’t for me and am getting my MA (I just choose MS/MSE option) in teaching to teach 2nd graders!! No more corporate for me!

I’m trying to finish my JD, but that’s it. I hope to never acquire another degree after this. 😉

I actually really enjoyed my undergrad experience and felt at the time that I would happily remain a student forever. Funny how law school will completely knock that nonsense out of a person!

I hope to get an MBA but right now I just want to get my BA! I feel like it’s taking forever because I work full time during the day and only go to school at night…My classes are very limited. I also found out that they are only offering certain classes that I need to graduate at certain times of the year just to keep students in school longer to get more money out of them! I flipping hate school!

I’m in the throes of PhD coursework, and will finish my coursework/exams in May 2011. I’ll probably be dissertating part-time while I teach for an additional two years. I really enjoy research/writing about theatre, so this was a natural fit for me, although I miss the practical side of making and teaching theatre (particularly when theatre is so community-based/ interactive and writing is oh-so solitary).

For me, graduate school was my only option to advance professionally. With the PhD, I have the option of teaching at the university level, and it qualifies me for a higher rate of pay if I return to teaching (which I plan to do at least while dissertating).  I will also have qualifications to move up into arts management/arts administration positions.

But, I will be DONEDONEDONE with schooling after this.
