Alright ladies, another question. Trying to get a visual of my tasting hour [similiar to a cocktail hour but no drinks].
For those of you who weren’t in on my other thread, the tasting hour will begin after our ceremony, during bridal shots, and will last no longer than 1 hour. After which, the dinner reception/dancing/open bar will take place.
Thanks to other bees, I have omitted all sweets before dinner, & have narrowed down my choices to :
– Mini cold-cut finger sandwhiches
– Fruit bowls topped w/ cream
– Assorted vegetables w/ dip [carrots, celery, brocolli, cauliflower]
– Sliced cheese, crackers & summer sausages
– Chocolate dipped strawberries
– Yogurt w/ and w/o granola/fruit.
light beverages will be served as well, probably mini waters or those mini sodas.
Each serving will be served in mini bowls/pedastal cups/plates, like the following :
Mind you, these are VERY small proportions. Most of the containers are 2-4 inches, and hold around 2 oz.
Here is an example so you know how small i’m talking:
Now that you have all the information, I need ideas on how much I should have. So far I have bought enough containers for every person to have 4. Do I need more? If you were at this type of event, [knowing there was a dinner to follow], how many do you think you’d eat?
Thanks for all your help bees!
