My band was a plain 2mm half-round in 18k, and it was $300. His was a 6mm band with hammered detailing in the center, in 14k, and it was, I think, $400. This was about a year ago, for reference.

My band is a double faux-eternity (stones go 80% around) and my Fiance is a 8mm wide 14K white gold band. They each cost $600

It just depends what you get.  Mine is a Tacori eternity band and done in platinum so it was about $3500 and his is a Scott Kay in palladium do it was only $700.  So it really just depends what you get but when you go the designer way prices do go up.  Plus, like others have said the prices of metals are also up.

Mine is from Sam’s Club. Fiance bought it as a set so it was $1500 for both the e-ring and the wedding band. White gold, half eternity band, matching e-ring with 1/2 carat princess cut diamond in the middle. And it appraised at twice what he paid for it.

my wedding band is a thin 1.88 in thickness Michael B eternity band that usually runs $2500 – $3000, but we had a little discount which Fiance purchased it for $2200 including 5 year warranty.

Wow, there is quite a range out there! We got my engagement ring and wedding band together from bluenile.com. Best site, by the way. Wedding band is white gold with 15 princess cut channel set diamonds, it was about $450, if I remember correctly. We got his from Overstock.com for about $80. 100% Tungsten, he is going to do a number on it, so we needed something that would hold up. However, they can’t resize those rings, we had the return the original, because it was too big. So be sure of the size! Good luck, and happy shopping!

Just a couple of weeks ago, we paid $1400 for his 6mm platinum band and $1800 for my plat band with .5 carats of diamonds.  All in w/ engraving, it was $3200.  We didn’t pay taxes bc they shipped them to us in another state.  That’s a good way to save money.  Have the jeweler ship them to a friend or relative in another state.

my fiance found a white gold band at the clay pot in brooklyn for $1200. It’s really plain so I’m not sure why it’s so pricey, but it looks less "out of the box" and more handmade than other rings. I wish he had less expensive taste but at least it will last forever!

With the rising price of gold now, bands might be expensive.  Try titanium bands.  You can get those for less than $100.  As for my wedding band – it was definitely more expensive but the band incorporates diamonds.
