Let me MoH picked what she liked (as long as it was a particular color). She ran it past the other bridesmaids with the cost, once they all agreed, it was fine with me.
The other 2 weddings I was in: The first one picked the dress, but paid for it. The other gave us a color requirement, but we could pick what we wanted.

I gave my BMs a lot of choices. I chose the length, material, and color palette. They got to choose their dress from there. I knew going in that I wanted a mismatched, but coordinated look. My girls all have pretty conservative taste so I also knew I was not going to have much issues with whether or not the dress they picked would be appropriate.

We’re having mismatched dresses. My requirements were short, navy, flowy,no shiny material, and preferably no strapless. One of my bridesmaids Is in a different city so she sent me a picture of what she found and I approved of it. I’m going shopping with the others and I’ll need to have approval on what they choose. It’s your wedding, so you can reject as many as you want. Maybe try and set stricter guidelines so they know what to look for. I also sent them collages of photos of the vibe and styles I was looking for.
