My wedding band was $630 before tax – 14K white gold, full eternity (diamonds all the way around), and 0.44 carats G/SI1 diamonds. It also has some hand-engraved detail on the sides.

I got it from the local shop where I got my e-ring (so, NOT a chain store).

Oh, and “anniversary bands” can definitely be used for wedding bands. That’s just a name a lot of jewelers use to sell more jewelry after people are already married… haha

I often think of anniversary bands being marketed, especially if they’re eternity styles, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a wedding band, I just think traditionally people can upgrade from their plain metal for an anniversary! I would definitely recommend looking at non-chain stores. You can find some really unique pieces that are much less.

I think that is a good price.  Everyone place is reasonable though.  While I was looking, I kept looking at bands that were between $600-$2,000.  It depends on the detailing, the amount of gold, the types of diamonds, etc.  Also, my wedding band isnt techinically a wedding band.  Its a random ring the saleswoman found and I fell in love with, so I don’t think it matters what they call it!

Here’s mine.. it’s platinum  half eternity with about 1/3 ct.  We paid 1100 which I think its not cheap, but not too expensive either.  I think anniversary band is the same thing… just different name.

My band cost $850 including tax.  It’s 14K white gold with 0.33 carats of G colour SI diamonds.

Mine was $1800, but we only paid for the platinum and 1 diamond (and the fabrication, of course), the other 4 were a gift from my grandmother.  Keep in mind that whatever you’re looking at, if you’re looking through an independent jeweler, the price could drop or skyrocket at a moment’s notice given what metals are doing now, but the way I looked at it, I’m going to wear this ring for the rest of my life- I’m going to get what I want 🙂

Mine has been priced at at $3300. 3/4 eternity, platinum, euroshank with 4pt diamonds. Fiance had sticker shock and turned a little pale. It has not been purchased yet, I gave him the option of getting me a pink sapphire and diamond band from someplace like blue nile and upgrading to my ring of choice by our first anniversary. We’ll see.

Mine hasn’t been bought yet, but the last time I checked, it was $549+tax. I keep telling Fiance to get his butt in gear, and to get it before the price of gold rises again (not too long ago it was only $300-something), but we shall see..

mine was about $1800 originally, 1/2 eternity 18k white gold and about .30 diamonds.  We paid more to have it made into a2/3 eternity to match my ering, so now its .46 diamonds for $2200 before tax.  I feel like that was too much, and ipribably would have had an Etsy seller custommake a band tomatch my ring, rather than buying from the designer, but we didnt have enough timebefore the wedding.
