I paid a pretty penny I think for mine and I actually bought two of them!!! Hahahaha. The first came from this shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SparkleSMBridal/items?section_id=17567847

But it didn’t match in tone to some of my other accessories or my brooch bouquet. So I went custom with this shop for $360 (+ $8 in shipping): https://www.etsy.com/shop/Couturelove She used raw silk and handsewing and the stones went almost all the way around to the back (and I don’t have a tiny waist). She even added extra stones when I thought it needed more and didn’t charge me for the additions, so I was happy to pay a higher amount because I feel like she really customized it for me.

I recommend both shops, with Sparkle SM being in a great price point with some really pretty options. But I do understand trying to get a certain color tone with your sash – I really wanted mine to have more of a silver or even a “grayer” look, which I achieved with the color of the fabric. Gotta love all that sparkle 🙂

mrsnitti17 :  so pretty. I got “lucky” in that I decided my dress was actually better sans belt so I wasn’t forced to decide whether to cough up the if bucks or not (honestly, I probably would have even through it would have hurt. I wouldn’t recommend doing it, but I can admit id have caved)

Mine was like $350 and I about had a heart attack once I realized the price. Should have looked at the bill more closely before paying. Get something off etsy or from a local place and save yourself the money. One of my biggest wedding regrets is spending that kind of money on an accessory most people won’t even notice.

mrsnitti17 :  personally, the belts i tried on were anywhere from $150-500… ridiculous on all counts. i made mine for like $15. but etsy is great too. I’d say anything more than a hundred bucks is astronomical

i just searched my computer.. and facebook.. i’m so sorry this is the best pic i could find:

Think of it this way… How much did you pay for your dress?? Kind of puts it into perspective…

mrsnitti17 :  mine was about $200 I think. It was actually part of a dress that wasn’t very comfortable, but I almost bought that dress anyways until they told me I could buy the belt separately! worth every penny and I would have paid way more for it if I had to.
