In creating the outline for my ceremony I have come across a whole bunch of traditions/ceremonys that I just love… sand ceremony, mother’s rose ceremony, hand ceremony, guest vows etc.
How much is too much? I feel like all those things would make the ceremony extra special for my Fiance and I… but possibly extra boring for the guests that have to sit through it 😛
Also, I am more than a bit nervous in front of people and with all the attention on me. I’m fighting between making the whole thing just short and sweet to get it over with… or forcing myself to get through it all to get in some really sweet extras… what do you think?

I think that 2 or 3 things is probably enough. My husband and I did hand fasting (which is during the vows so is sort of on its own) and a sand ceremony before we signed our license.

Personally, we are doing short and simple and to the point. I am not one to stand up infront of a bunch of people. We are not doing any type of traditions. We may do one song but that will be all: 15-20 min deal total. It is your day though! Sure, your guests might be like “when do we get to get our hands on a beer” but take the time and enjoy it. You only get to do this once! But as for as a number goes, I would say two things would be enough; Like the sand ceremony and a song, or those at the same time and something else that is small. Just my opinion! Good luck and let us know what you choose! 🙂
