$600 to rent the state park for the ceremony, about $800 for transportation (limited parking), chairs, and the sound system.

My reception location is $1000 to rent for the whole weekend (Friday through Sunday), but I have to rent a lot of stuff, which I hope will total $1500. The good thing is we have almost complete control of the place, so we are hiring our own caterers, bartenders, and buying our alcohol. The bar will be $1500 or less (wine, beer, champagne, and selected mix drinks). I haven’t chosen a caterer yet, but I have a firm mental limit of $35 a person.

So, ceremony + rentals = $1400

Reception + rentals + food and drink = $8,375 +/- depending on RSVPs

$1,500 for the Site alone, that does not include food, beverages, taxes or service fee’s.

We are basically paying $70 per person. But the food is amazing so I am pretty stoked about that. No “wedding food”!

Our ceremony site rental was $650, and the reception site rental was $700.  These are discounted rates from FI’s families alum status with the university we are getting married at.

This obviously doesn’t include food, beverage, etc.

I’m paying approximately $17,000.00 for my venue (includes hall, food, alcohol) for my wedding of 135. And that’s a deal compared to my other options!

I’m envious of everyone who is posting such lower costs!

We’re paying $3k for the venue itself. We’re having the ceremony and reception there.

Food and open bar for 80 people will be about $7400. And we’ll probably have to rent a tent for $600.

All I know so far is the ceremony and reception venue (no food, alcohol, etc). For both spots it’s $6000 which includes all tables, chairs, linens and centerpieces (but no flowers to go in them).

For the wedding site (rotunda in a state park) and a indoor hall and large outdoor plaza on the same grounds that includes tables chairs and white table linens it will be $2,000. That of course does not include food or alcohol.

Here is a pic of the wedding site-

A couple of the Grounds-

And One of the outdoor plaza (not a great pic)-

I love living in a small town! Prices are great! =)

Technically, free 🙂 We’re getting married in my parents yard, overlooking the river.

We are, however, renting a tent for the reception. I believe the tent to seat 180, tables, chairs, linens, utensils, etc. was ~$3000.

Our venue comes in at around $38k. That’s for 150 people though, and our guest list is now hovering around 200, so I’m sure the venue cost will go up as well. Le sigh.

We are having both the ceremony and reception at the same place. We are having approximately 50 guests and the cost is only going to be $1,500. We are able to bring in our own vendors, so that is also saving us some money.

Our wedding package rental fee includes all chairs for our ceremony (including labor to set up and take down, either in the garden or inside the house) plus chairs/ tables in the ballroom for about 100 people and linens and table arrangements in our colors.

There is a professional sound system, including microphones that we can use in the house, so if we wanted to use an iPod or CD’s we could. They also have a large 10’x8’ projection screen that drops from the ceiling.

The fees include the use of the sunken English Garden, the lawn, the loggia (large covered porch), Ballroom and Great Hall for six hours (including setup and clean up).

Ours is a city property that we can rent by the hour. So for the space for the ceremony and reception for eight hours, tables, chairs, sound equipment, insurance and two site coordinators we are paying about $1800.
