The dress I am seriously considering is very simple. Satin with no lace or beading. I am wanting to wear a kinda chunky bracelet and some big earrings but I’m afraid that I will look too gaudy if I try to put too much on, even though my dress will be simple.
What is everyone else wearing as far as jewelry besides the obvious e-ring and band?

I’m going to just wear earrings because I have a lot going on from the waist up on my dress. I may throw a bracelet in the mix too, but only if I stumble on one without really looking. I cannot dedicate any more time to stuff not already on my to-do list!

I heard a little rule once and I think it’s kind of cute! Once you have everything on, take the last item off and you’re fine. It kind of applies to makeup too… haha.
So far I will have my wedding band and mom is holding engagement ring for me to put on post-ceremony.
I have a new tennis bracelet that is round diamonds from the in-laws as a wedding gift to me, I will wear that.
Hmm …. I want to wear a pretty necklace … of diamonds *dreams* Oh and diamond studs … my mothers of course.

I wore diamond tear drop earrings, thick filigree ring with small diamonds on right hand, and two bracelets on right wrist – one diamond that matched the ring, one blue topaz and diamond (my something blue!) I am a jewelry freak, though, haha.

Oooh I love blue jewelry for the wedding day, like sapphires … I wish for a sapphire necklace.

I wore earrings and a simple necklace . I had a birdcage veil I figured one "trendy" item was enough, everything about my look had somewhat of an art deco feel to play off my e-ring ,. But I never wear any jewelry other than my wedding band and or e-ring. How much do you wear everyday? do you usually wear a bracelet , or watch , etc. Do you have any pics of the dress? that always helps in deciding too much from just enough. Good luck!

I’m wearing earings, a bracelet, and maybe a necklace.

I am wearing a bracelet I had made from a wonderful gal on etsy and then some really simple earrings. I want 99% focus on my maggie dress! 🙂

This is the dress I have tried on and loved. On a normal day, I wear my e-ring and a James Avery necklace. I usually dont accesorize very much on a daily basis but I’m figuring since its a special day I should at least look into other options. I think I might go with some chandlier earrings.

I am wearing simple but elegant faux diamond earrings, pearl and diamond bracelet, and a simple diamond solitare necklace (the diamond is from my mom engagement ring from my dad who passed away).

Well the 6 silver rings I always wear never come off, including for the wedding. I am wearing a pearl and Swavorski crystal pendant with matching drop earrings and bracelet. My e-ring will not fit on my right hand so an attendant is wearing that for me until after the ceremony.

I can’t decide. The neckline of my dress is a simple sweetheart, but it’s covered in lace and I don’t want to overdo it with lace and necklace and earrings and a big poofy veil. I’ll probably end up with drop earrings of some sort, but I haven’t started looking yet.

I wore a short strand of pearls, antique earrings (about 1.5" long), two bracelets on my left wrist, a yellow topaz cocktail ring on my right hand. And a hair flower. And a very simple waltz-length veil. (and, yes, I felt a little ridiculous putting all of those fussy little pieces on). 🙂
Pictures in my bio!

Jaimiek – beautiful dress! I think with a dress that simple and elegant, you can get away with really dramatic jewelry. I think chandelier earring and a standout ‘haute bride’ type bracelet would be gorgeous. Have you thought about hair accessories yet? I think that counts a jewelry too! I wore jeweled combs under my veil and it showed through just enough and then changed into a jeweled headband when I took off my veil for the reception. (I told you I am a jewelry freak!)

I’ll be wearing a pearl necklace and studs (and my w-ring and e-ring, of course!). There’s a lot of beading on the top of my dress, so I’m keeping it simple. I agree with MarzipanMrs., I think dramatic jewelry would be great with that dress!
