Personally, I would only do the Mantilla veil.

Oh, I tried on that dress too (ended up going for something different but similar)! You rock it way better than I did. Good choice.

I think all three may be too much, but it’s hard to say. I definitely love the veil, and if I had to choose just one, I’d go to the veil over the bolero.

if you wear the bolero – no lace veil, if you wear the lace veil – no lace bolero.

i think you can never have too much lace… my lace dress has elbow length lace sleeves and i’m wearing a cathedral length lace veil. i personally think it looks awesome…

I do think it’s too much lace, particularly if each piece is made by a different manufacturer and the different laces probably won’t match perfectly. I would do a raw edged veil personally, but the mantilla could work. You def don’t need the bolero – the lace of the mantilla will cover your shoulders anyway if that’s the effect you wanted.

Also – I don’t even think it’s just that there’s too much lace, it’s more that your dress has so much detail in addition to the lace – the ornate embroidery detail at the top, the corset lacing etc – that I would only do a ver simple veil.

@mvg120:  Thank you! I love your dress, i actually tried it on and almost got it but i cant wear a strapless dress at my church (i personally dont like them anyway) and i was worried about finding a bolero that matched, but i think the one you found is awesome and will look great with your dress. Are you planning on wearing the veil and bolero all day or just for your ceremony? I think that might make a difference to some bees, i was worried about lace overload too but i’ll only be wearing my veil for our ceremony so i think it’ll look okay…

I would go with just the mantilla veil. I think the bolero would be overkill. The veil is beyond gorgeous.
