Pretty much nothing haha!

We’re in kind of a tight spot right now, we’re not starving but we dont really have enough money to save or go out and do fun things.

Hopefully some things will be changing in a good way soon and it wont be such an issue

When Fiance and I were both working regular jobs it was about $3K more or less. Now that we own a business, after bills/tax/expenses for business etc. we have about $18K that we save or do whatever we want with. Sounds good but a lot of work involved so whether we’ll have time to spend it or not is yet to be determined.

If we’re just talking mortgage and bills – quite a fair bit. If we subtract school fees thats way wittled down.

But I don’t think we’re representative of normal and we earn way, way above average so I think its a little skewed. Our kids school fees are basically a second mortgage…

Mojito77:  Oh no I know what you mean. It gets frustrating to be like, work, home, sleep, rinse, repeat for an extended period of time. We went to the movies on Friday for the first time in months and it was just so nice lol

I am thankful we’re not in a bad spot and overall I am happy, but I will definitely be happier once we have some “extra” again

We have my husband’s full pay left and probably $400 off mine. I pay for all the household expenses while he takes care of groceries, transportation and saving for the both of us.

Never enough! lol. We made the mistake of getting a bigger house that needed some work and man is it a money pit. Actually, we are debating on downsizing so we have more cash for fun stuff. No vacations for 2 years makes me so sad. But I do graduate soon so hopefully I can find a full time job to fill in the deficits. If I get a job and we downsize, we could do way more! But I would miss my big old ghosty house on the lake. My fi could do it in heartbeat, I’m on the fence.

Mojito77:  Rent (which includes utilities), cable, internet, phone & insurance is about 33% of our income.

After mortgage and basic bills we’re left with all my salary and half my husband’s.  We live fairly frugally, trying to save for when I quit work to stay home with the kids and for a new house.  And we’ve always been comitted to living on one income and saving the other, just in case.

Mojito77:  It depends but my paychecks are all left over really and we can use it for savings/fun weekend etc but mostly after all our bills are paid we probably have $1600 left over each month not including my $800-$1000 monthly income. We don’t make a ton of money but my Fiance gets a company car and fuel card through his company that he is allowed to use for personal use. So that cuts down on our gas greatly. We do pay for my suv but I work 10 minutes from home so I don’t use a whole lot of gas. We currently rent where we live but own a home in Arizona that we rent out as well. So essentially we have around $1700 ish left over total…..Man on paper it seems like we have a whooooole lot more money than it seems like in real life lol!
