Oh man, I have probably a lot.

I still love 95% of my exes. Not romantically, of course, but they contributed richly to my personal narrative and I’ll never forget them. Some of them are invited to the wedding, even. And one of them is catering!

Off the top of my head…

– Drawings from J

– Necklace from B

– “Wedgehead” ugly doll from C

– Notes from A, also A’s international student ID card

– Letter from N

– Mix CD from L

– Poem booklet I wrote for/about [different] N

That’s some of it. I’m not really a photo person, so really none of those.

FH has access to all of my things and I wouldn’t actively prevent him from finding these things. I also don’t put them in his face (or if they are “around” I don’t talk about where they come from). I don’t obsess over them, either… but to be honest, if FH asked me to get rid of the stuff… it would be really hard from me.

Even if I parted with someone on mutual terms, I don’t ever see the need to keep pictures (digital or printed), love notes, gifts, etc. Consider it making room for the long-haul relationship. 😉
