I am trying to stay within a reasonably budget and I found a necklace and earring set that I love that was $29 each….I have 4 BM’s….is this too much….note: I showed and asked one of my BM’s opinion and she really liked it but said omg don’t spend that much on us that’s too much….idk help pls?

I think it really just depends on what you can afford, and if you’re giving other gifts. You know your financial situation and you don’t have to let them know how much it is if you decide to go ahead with the earrings. I don’t think it’s too much, personally.

Well I guess it depends on if that is the only gift you’ll be gifting them. If so then don’t worry about if you like them. If you plan to combine the jewerly with other items like a tote bag filled with goodies then I would find something cheapier. I’ve never re-worn any of my Bridesmaid or Best Man jewerly that I have because it just isn’t my style. So keep that in mind too.

we’re on a tight budget with 7 ladies… i am getting them each a pair of earrings to wear on the day of the wedding. they will all be different and unique to each person.
for example, fish earrings for the hunting/fishing gal, cool vintage red birds for the st. louis cardinals fan, scissors for the beautician.
I am not spending more than $10/pair and they will be very personal, which is important to me 🙂

It depends on your financial situation. Bridesmaids should be thankful irregardless of how much you spend on them. If you are gifting them jewelry, try to gift them something that will fit their personality and that you think they might wear again. The jewelry doesn’t have to be the same for each one.

They got necklaces, earrings and bracelets and I spent about $30 each from Avon.

I’m making their bouquets from satin and tulle as something they can have as a keepsake. That will be their “main” gift. I’m thinking of personalizing each with a small charm specifically chosen for each girl. The actually cost will probably be around $30-$40/girl (depending on charm), but each one will be something that I personally put a lot of time, effort & love into making (that is, if I manage to get them all done – I’ve got SIX bridesmaids!)
