This post is inspired by pictures posted of rings sets wuth multiple stacking bands. I’m just wondering how much ring space everyone has on thier ring finger, and also your ring size and a picure of your stacked rings. When I try to stack rings it doesn’t look right on my finger but I love the look of it in other people’s pictures. The ring space on your finger would be from between your ring and middle finger (the lowest a ring can sit) to the first line of your knuckle. My ring size is 4.5 and the part of my finger as explained in the previous sentence is 10mm. I feel like I’ve seen stacks of rings posted with smaller ring sizes and bigger engagement rings than mine and I’m starting to think that my finger is wierd, lol.

nykkee : I love the stacked look! My ring space is about 15mm, and I have three rings. The band on each is about 1.5 mm. I’m a size 8 finger, but the rings are sized at 8.25 (jeweler recommended going up a bit because stacks squish your finger!)

I love the look of stacked rings but personally wouldn’t wear more than three on one finger just because I like them meaning something to me and not adding rings for the sake of it. Here’s my e-ring, wedding band and eternity ring stack

I’m a size 6 ring, but have crazy long fingers, like 18mm of ring space. I think once I’ve got all my rings, it will probably be about 10mm of space full. My wedding ring is 3mm. I plan on interchanging a few rings. Here’s a few bands I have all stacked, about 13mm thick. I don’t think I will go this thick even though I still have my full range of motion.
ETA: I don’t actually wear my rings like this, just put a bunch on for perspective!

I just got married last week. 🙂 my stack is for keeps 💚 the marquise ring is my one year engagement present (we actually got married one year from the date I got proposed to: Nov 28th 2015, married: Nov 27th 2016). Super excited!
My finger is a size 6, but in the summer it tends to swell. So my e-rings are 6.2. My anniversary ring is a size 6. Info: my e-ring is 2mm, my wedding band is 1.8mm and my marquise ring is 1.8 as well. The thickness all together is 5.6, but space is 14mm? Not sure if that was what you meant by “ring space”.
Here is my stack. A couple of pics in different positions:

I’m not 100% sure how to actually measure “ring space” – I just quickly measured from the space in between my middle and ring finger to the middle of my knuckle, which was about 19-20mm, which from the other responses sounds like I measures wrong, hahaha. I usually wear 3-4 rings stacked, and I’m a size 5.5.

ellyd23 : you did measure wrong, I meant the space on you finger where rings can fit before it looks wierd or interferes with movement of the finger. So to the first knuckle line, not the center.
Everyone who posted here’s finger looks like it still works and does not seem like it has too many rings. I think my problem is a combination of both my fingers being short, or at least the bottom part of the, and the width of my rings and I think I need to just give up on the stack idea unless I come across something really super thin that I like. My e-ring has a split shank and is 4-5mm at the top and then my wedding band is 2.5mm which leaves only about 2.5mm of finger before you hit knuclear a d rings don’t look right all the way up to the knuckle. Thanks everyone, for helping me figure it out.
