I’m getting married at San Francisco City Hall and just need my boquet and my FI’s boutonniere. I’ve been quoted from $65 to over $200. Do you really get what you pay for? or should I choose a cheaper option?
I’m looking for something like this:

For a bouquet that full, and with such expensive types of flowers, I would definitely expect the quote to be closer to $200 than $65.
I’m not sure if you necessarily “get what you pay for” but to be honest, I would be leary of going with a quote that seemed to be too good to be true.
Makes you wonder why they would be so willing to practically give away their service (since the flowers alone would eat up a lot of the $65).

I requested mine to be all vendela light pink roses with no greenery, was $80.

I love calla lillies and knew that they will be slightly out of season during my wedding, so I knew I was going to pay a bit more. My bridal bouquet is about $200, and will be relatively simple.
Groom’s boutonniere is $40.

It depends on the flowers. My bouquet is $75 and will be all garden roses. I really wanted peonies, but they aren’t in season at the time. If they were then my bouquet would have been more expensive.

Mine was a rose/cala lily mix. I got married at City Hall and told them I only had a $50 budget. There were around 16 blooms in it.
Based on what you want I would say a decent version of it will definitely cost quite a bit more than the $65, but $200+ seems high.

Mine is $180. Both of my sisters were married recently their bouquets were between $175-$200. Every quote I received was between $150-$200. So I think that’s about right at least in my area. Unless you’re doing really inexpensive flowers.

Mine was $250 and it was almost like yours. The bridesmaids boquets were smaller and were $150 each.

@BrooklynWife: Thank you! Everything about that photo is gorgeous! what flowers are in your bouquet? I love hoe “fluffy” it looks!
Also thanks to all you bees for the other comments, the poll doesn’t seem to be helping, but I like that it can really vary depending on exactly what you want.

My bridal bouquet is $150 in the bay area, but I don’t know how expensive those flowers are that you want. Mine will be alstroemeria, roses, greenery and texture
Bridesmaids bouquets are $75
ETA: Saw you also asked about bouts… FI’s with a yellow rose and greenery is $18. Groomsmens with alstroemeria and greenery are $15

AllieBee12: Thank you! Mine was all white peonies. My ‘maids had peonies, garden roses, and cabbage roses. I think the slightly smaller size and the rose fillers made for the $100 difference in prices. The peonies are expensive!
You inspiration picture has some white hydrangia in it too. I love hydrangia as well….we had a lot of centerpieces with a peoney, garden/cabbage rose, hydrangia mix and they were beautiful. I love all white flowers. Good luck and congrats!

Considering the types of flowers in the photos and the fact that you’re getting married in SF…I’d say the bouquet should run you at the VERY LEAST $150.
congrats! city hall is gorgeous!

I’m getting a similar bouquet and I’m in St. Louis, MO (so I’m assuming stuff is cheaper?). I’ve been getting quotes ranging from $180-$250 and all those flowers are in season in June.
Flowers are not something I would NECESSARILY go with the cheapest option. If the date on your profile is correct, peonies, rununculus and hydrangeas are out of season in August, thus would be expensive. Anyone who can get you peonies for cheap is lying/being deceitful.

@AllieBee12: I’m in the bay area 🙂 my bouquet is either 200 or 250. I can’t remember which. it’ll look like this but with softer pinks. This picture is of my actual florists work:
