That seems about right. I am having a simple bouquet, a dozen hand tied red roses and it is going to be $250, which I too thought was crazy but I have been told thats about as cheap as they come. I am going even simpler with my bridesmaids and just having them carry a single long-stem red rose which will be a whopping $10 per person LOL. But the single rose has always been my dream since I was little so it’s not for everyone.

That is really high! But it might be right on target for your area. I only paid $80 for my BM’s and $120 for mine…

It’s going to depend on the season and your flower choices. Try to use local flowers and what’s in season. A good florist shoud be able to stay in your color palette and budget.

really depends on where you are. I decided to go the diy route, halfing my bill! good luck! there’s a few threads on here from other bees who did this, which inspired me.

Our Florist Is Whole Foods.

hers were gorgeous.

I went to a few places online and got quotes, but after hearing over $300 again and again, I started asking about bulk flowers, which came in around $150, then I went to our whole foods and she quoted me around $80-MUCH better!

My bouquet is going to be small (I am only 5’3″, 130 pounds. Size of your bouquet can be adjusted — large bouquets overwhelm small people! Just food for thought.)

I am getting white roses, daisies & calla lillies. It’s going to be about 100 dollars for my bouquet give or take.

My MoH bouquet is 50, my other three bridesmaids were around 25-30 dollars.

I am having a spare bouquet made to match mine but only in white roses, and I’ll be taking it to the gravesite of my best friend — that bouquet I think chimed in around 70-80.

Entirely depends on the flowers you’re using. You could pay $50 or $300. My bouquet ended up costing $125, which I thought was an INSANE amoutn of money, but I price checked EVERYWHERE and the fact is that calla lillies are expensive whether you buy them in a bouquet or not. What flowers are you trying to get?

I can’t remember the price quoted on my bouquet for the life of me. Probably in the $250 range though. It’ll be a combo of peonies, garden roses, hydrangeas, freesias. My bridesmaids are having baby’s breath bouquets (which apparently need to be put together day of) and those are going to be about $40 a pop.

I have been wondering the same thing.  I haven’t touched the flower area yet.  I love daisies and was hoping that they shouldn’t be too much.

@msgiraffe2013:  I don’t think daisies are expensive flowers, depending when your wedding is, they could be locally grown, rather than shipped from south america in the dead of winter for roses… see what I mean? I would ask around! And if they ARE expensive, you can mix it up with a less expensive flower, so it’s not ALL one expensive flower. 🙂

Umm..I’ve heard like tops in the early $100s. Mostly I saw they were in the 80s though. I’m not quite sure why people’s bouquets would cost them $250. That sounds pretty ridiculous to me too..

I think about $80 is normal.

If you are going to use real flowers I suggest ordering a bouquet package from sams club, you can get a 14 piece for less than $300.

I already assembled my artificial bouquets but I’m seriously thinking of getting sams club bouquets and making pomanders out of my already assembled bouquets!

For Bridesmaid or Best Man…I think around $75 is average.  Around $180-200 for yours.  Some can get a lot higher (or cheaper) if you like certain types of flowers or if the flowers you are asking for are out of season.  A lot of it does depend on what flowers you are using…

I think my Bridesmaid or Best Man I got down to around $50 each and mine is $180 I believe.
